Mould walls hidden by bed
booked two family rooms for two nights during this midterm break specially for kids to use the swimming pool, I know their aren’t much to do around but wanted to relax with in hotel but swimming pools closed for both Wednesday 2.30pm and Thursday until 12.45pm, also find out one of our rooms was very cold and damp smells at night, looked around and found the mould walls covered by the bed. Looks it has not been cleaned or used for long time (picture attached), reported at reception next morning got room change but receptionist seems very normal about this…

Wonderful family-friendly hotel
The room is very spacious and accommodate our 5-person family. A very family-friendly hotel. The buffet breakfast is so delicious with a lot of variety. The waitress, Mia looked after us very well. The reception is amazing and helped us. The swimming pool, the Jacuzzi, the gym was simply amazing. We wondered where this hotel had been since and we didn't know about it. We'll certainly be coming back. Thank you very much!

Surprisingly good
Gort wouldn't be an obvious choice of location, but we stayed for nollaig na mban ( aka little Christmas) and were pleasantly surprised. The area is rich in culture and literary hustory. Fans of WB Yeats and the abbey theatre are in for a treat. Also, the natural landscape and geology are unique, being right beside the burren. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has an excellent bar and food ootion. Staff are polite and wrlcoming. Would definitely recommend it.

Potential good place not to be
Morning breakfast was good and the overall ambience was nice. 2 things that we struggled 1. Bed bugs. The holiday was supposed to be relax and rest but couldn't sleep due to bugs 2. Sound. First day it was likely infant next door which is understandable it happens sometimes. Second day it was live music till mid night. So both nights were lost due to bugs and sound ☹️ A little sound proofing and bug treatment should help to get rewarding experience but certainly was not the case this time for us

Great place to stay.
One night stay for visit to see Santa in Elf Town in Galway. The hotel was spotless. The staff were Friendly. The pool had the warmest water of any pool I've been in and we have a lot of pools in Killarney area. The kids loved every minute. The breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely long weekend stay
Loveliest long weekend at the Lady Gregory hotel, was a luxurious and comforting stay in a beautiful hotel building in the lovely town of Gort. Recommend taking a swim in their pool, visiting the local pubs and bakeries in Gort and visiting Coole Park, which has history on the actual lady Gregory.
