Great hotel.

There were hairs on the beds when arrived but the cleanliness of the rest of it was great. The staff where friendly and welcoming. The cups in the room are very small but we asked for bigger ones and the staff were more than helpful. Will definitely be staying here again. Dont let the area put you off

The location was very convenient for those exploring the city. You can get public transportation from a nearby stop and Line 21 gets you to London Bridge within 10 minutes and is very convenient and from there you can connect to underground metro. The Hotels' family room was very convenient, and it offers 1 double and 3 single bed and is deal for a family with 3 kids. The staff was helpful and the area around the hotel was safe even though it may not look great as the buildings and shops are old and look a bit dated and run down. Overall, my experience was great, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for value for the money.

Amazing Staff

I genuinely wasnt sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful, I had an issue with the water draining in the shower, mentioned it when I left the room for the day and by the time I took a shower the next day it was fixed! I felt very secure and safe, you couldnt even get into reception without a keycard at night and then you needed to scan again to access the rooms area. Would abaolutely stay here again when i'm next in london. Thank you for a relaxed easy trip.

A very pleasant hotel with modern, clean rooms, ideal for a business stopover. 10 minutes walk from Bermondsey which is very cool. Downside was the area is a bit rundown and it was a bit noisy at night.

Location was very convenient because it was less than 10 minutes walk to my mother's flat who i was visiting. There are abundant restaurants of almost every region. Transportation iis almost by the doorstep. If you're looking for luxury, not the right place. But if you're visiting family around that area, then look no further. The rooms are small compared to American standard. There's no microwave, which would have been great. Room was clean. Its a busy and vibrant area.

Only one person was bright and breezy . All other staff , both male and female were unhappy . No greetings when in the foyer . The men sitting at the front desk had no interest in acknowledging people let alone greeting people .was very clean but bathroom towels need upgrading and better washing suds need . shower drain was blocked, shower bracket for spray head way too high on wall. Bathroom very dirty, including some of the towells. main bedroom area was ok. its easy to be critical. but this are has to be a priority. staff were fine. On a general note , some readily available info in the reception area would have been appreciated RE bus stop locations and destinations (close to hotel), having to ask staff who's english is generally poor is not always a good option. on the positive side the staff we encountered made a good effort to let us in early, before their stated 2 pm threshold. would stay there again provided they cleaned up better...
