Close to the pier, the room is not very clean
I found some spiders in the washroom. Need to enter the hotel from back door after 8pm because the reception is closed at 8. But it is close to pier, and have three restaurants near to it.

Property is dated, paint peeling off, stains on carpet. Strange layout of toilet smack bang in the middle of the room instead of on the side. However it was in a very convenient location.

We had a one night stay after all ferries were cancelled. I was happy with the property description of the garden villa we booked. It was a lovely spacious clean villa. The bathroom and kitchen were really lovely and big bed was comfy and lots of extra pillows and blankets. Sofa bed in lounge could do with updating as it’s pretty tired. The main building is a bit empty and soulless but we ate at the great penneshaw pub anyway.

Hotel has an amazing 180 deg view of the ocean - you can see both sunrise and sunset. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There’s also a beautiful garden and small pool behind the hotel. I’ll definitely be back!
