Very good location near the beach and stores, but it's one-way street not so convenient. Room is too stuffed, even elevators, TV and bathroom are also small, but the bed is very big. Great breakfast and cool bar, but waiters always come to ask for tips, which makes a little uncomfortable. We added one more night, but the rate went up without informing us in advanced. They even asked us to check out first and re-checked in. We almost needed to move rooms around. They said the couldn't accept cash, charged us wrong amount and could not void, and last, they made receipts a bunch of mess which was wasting time and no flexibilities. May return only if there are no better choices.

Nice hotel

The hotel has changed ownership, and it feels like they are still not fully organized, even though, as I understand, the change happened a year ago. The hotel is very clean, the breakfasts are decent, and the reception staff is friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant seems to be understaffed, and I would recommend they increase their workforce.

Geschmackvoll in bester Lage

Fantastische Lage. 5 Min. zu Fuß vom Strand. Ruhig. Geschmackvoll modern eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Gehobene Küche. Das Frühstück war vielleicht das Beste, das ich in einem Hotel hatte. Das Buffet war nicht riesig, aber alles sehr fein. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge (die vielleicht für ganz Israel gelten): Flecken/Kratzer an Wänden schneller entfernen bzw. renovieren und wärmere Beleuchtung am Bett statt kalt-weiße LEDs.

Excellente situation de l'hôtel, près de la plage, des restaurants, des transports... Accueil et services particulièrement soignés. Très bon petit déjeuner, produits de qualité, service à table et buffet, tables en intérieur et en extérieur. Très bonne literie. Un bémol : nous avions choisi la chambre classique qui est vraiment très petite : difficile de circuler une fois qu'une valise est posée et ouverte. C'est vraiment dommage...

We added an extra night in Tel Aviv at the last minute and went back to Mendeli Street hotel where we last stayed in 2018. We did so for the breakfast. Because of the changed conditions following the war, the hotel only serves its amazing breakfast on weekends. Instead, ir provides you with a cocker for the Asimi Restaurant overlooking the beach. The 3 minute walk and the breakfast did not disappoint!! The value of the hotel is found in the kindness of the staff, the proximity to the beach and the cleanliness of the rooms. The standard room is small, the bed is great, the shower was excellent and the air conditioner a life-saver. Well worth the stay!! Thanknyou again Mendel!!!

Hip boutique hotel

The staff at the hotel were so friendly. The location is great. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. I didn’t realize that the room had only one very small window that faced a wall, so don’t go here if you want a view. The hotel does not have on site parking either. We ended up parking in a lot 1/2 mile away. That’s an important thing to note if you plan on having a car.
