Una estancia agradable en lo general, nada sobresaliente. El servicio malo sobre todo en el área de restaurantes, pocas veces se acercaron a nuestra mesa a ofrecernos bebida o recoger los platos sucios. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, el cenote increíble, animales de cruzan por todos lados y eso encanta a los niños. Los shows que ofrecen diario son muy buenos también. La comida regular no es mala pero nada sobresaliente. En general todo bien excepto servicio

I would go somewhere else!
Sandos eco resort looked great online. We upgraded to the penthouse suite with the hot tub on the balcony. When arriving we didn't get a good overview of the resort. Then getting to the room it was nice. But we ended up having engineering there 4 separate times to fix separate things. Then management didnt seem to care or want to move us. The water for the tub / shower were cold. Along with all of the pools and jacuzzi. They keep the water temps starting at 70 deg F. Which after getting a massage we would have liked to sit in a HOT tub to relax. The jetted tub the jets didn't work and took 30min to fill. So save your money and don't upgrade! We pick this place for tge adults only area. But there were kids everywhere. Which you cannot have any beverage by the pool or jacuzzi. The alcohol was the bottom shelf liquor. No name brands except for at the beach bar. Which then there was only one I recognized. The restaurants, most food was goid. But the buffets close to change over and there are tines you cannot get anything to eat. Also the popular restaurants you have yo make reservations for. But the only open up the reservations at 12am for the day. If you are not on right then to get reservations, you will not get reservations at the restaurants. The buffets and taco bar are walk in. The beach is really rocky! Bring water shoes to wear on the beach or go into the water. Goid points: the spa was great. Also seeing all the animals and cenote.

Overall this is a really cool resort for families with kids which is unique being an eco resort. You feel like you are in the rainforest and have monkey, coatee, raccoons and agati visitors and lush greenery. The staff do a wonderful job of maintaining the rainforest and property and were so friendly. We thought the food was good at the buffet and one of the restaurants. The big issue was we didn't have hot water in our room and all I wanted at the end of the day was a hot shower. It also made showering the kids very difficult. The other thing is you can only send your kids to kids club for 2hrs/day. Not that we would send them every day but it wasn't long enough to do anything by the time you walked there and back. We would consider going back with our kids but likely not, however we are glad we did go. I don't think we would have enjoyed it as much if we didn't have kids.

This is a beautiful family resort, highly recommended if you have kids to go and visit. Staff are friendly and make sure your time spent there is enjoyable.

The grounds were fantastic nestled into the jungle with lots of tree coverage so you're not being baked on the sun. They had excellent live entertainment and shows every night. The food at La Laguna was as what you would expect from an average buffet but was still very tasty and the staff was allergy mindful of my youngest son who has a severe Tree nut allergy. Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed the restaurants on site, as well as the onsite entertainment and everything that the resort put forward to make our stay as best as possible. We really enjoyed the restaurants that were on site. Booking through Expedia gave us extra privileges to have concierge book our restaurants for us, so we did not have to wait up till midnight to put them ourselves online.

Wished that i was notified that the slides would be under maintenance prior to booking the resort. It was the main reason for selecting this resort.

The resort is falling apart. We had heavy rain and the roof was leaking everywhere. Including the main buffet AND our room. Had to walk through puddles on the bathroom floors. There was mold in a lot of the communal areas especially the main buffet and bathrooms. 5 out of 8 people in our group were vomiting by the end of our stay. I think it was the buffet food. The a la carte restaurants were all great food but had very limited reservations. The employees were all working so hard but just couldn't keep up with all the issues, no fault of their own. If the resort invested in some major repairs and maintenance it could be really amazing. The large waterslides were also closed for maintenance the whole week but we only ever saw 1 person doing some painting. Highlights were all the wildlife including monkeys, turtles and iguanas. The shows every night were very good.

Awsome resort child friendly has a water park for kids to enjoy. The only thing I dislike was the way the reservations to eat at the restaurant work they will tell you to reserve in there app but there was never a open table so be ready to dine at the buffets.

The property itself is in a very unique rain forest setting. You are surrounded by amazing vegetation and lots of animals. The beach is beautiful but rocky. They should have a separate area for vegan and vegetarian so that you can identify what food contains meat, seafood and cheese.

To be honest this is the worst resort I have ever been to Dirty ,falling apart, everything is a money grab pools look like a toilet with all the kids peeing in it and the adults dirty as well Never seen once in the seven days pool being tested or cleaned I am now going for blood work and other tests to see what parasite I got on Friday which has caused me great strain grief Never again Sandos you are a one stars resort and I’m being generous Your resort is falling apart holes in the roofs water leaking in every every location and dirty water falling in the buffet with no sanitizing no wonder people leave there needing medical help Never again read this please tourists because they’re site is all lies and the smell off sewage is overpowering

Pésimo servicio de la gente de las barras. Hace años fuimos en pareja y como adultos y todo bien pero este año que lleve a mis hijos estuvo pésimo el servicio. La playa que tiene es imposible meterte. La logística del snack es malísima y sin variedad, no tienen a la vista ni menú de comida ni de bebidas. El restaurante de Mariscos estuvo cerrado. Al igual que el área de toboganes. Buen comentario al Gym y al Kids Club esas áreas estuvieron perfectas. El área de recepción intentó mejorar la estadía pero en general estuvo muy mal. En restaurante de especialidades solo recomiendo templo y fogo El sport bar innumdado con mil goteras. Las mesas de juegos del sport bar muy maltratadas. Muchos puntos de mejora yo no regreso.

We chose this resort because our grandson wanted waterslides..however the bigger slide was damaged and not usable as was one of the restaurants..that we had booked in after we got to the resort. The main pool was really murky ...compared to the adult pool. The room was clean and grounds were well maintained by staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Some guests made the stay irritating but that's not the resorts fault. We would definitely book through Expedia..gave us a perk...as it allowed us to book al le carte restaurants upon check in ...rather than stay up till midnight and use the resorts app! That made us very happy! Santiago at the Taco Bar was an amazingly kind and friendly waiter...as was Michelle at concierge! Bellman were wonderful as well! The resort does need some repairs to roofs..as some floors are very slippery when it rains. All in all ...having not used Expedia for an international vacation ...I would do it again!

It was nice to be in the rain forest and have the animals all around. The beach was extremely rocky and hard to go into. A lot of amenities were closed such as the water slides which as big reason we booked, the snack bar wasn’t open, some a la cartes were closed and you had to book the day of at midnight or you couldn’t get a reservation which being on vacation with little kids I’m not up at that time and I’m not setting an alarm. The place was nice but not for me.
