Excellent room with a stunning view & breakfast
This was a beautiful hotel with a stunning view from our room. The included breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, fresh croissants and bread, cheese, meats, scrambled eggs, as well as fresh made fruit juice and coffee. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous, and professional, responsive, and efficient. Overall an excellent experience here, and if recommend it as well as come back to stay here again if ever in Sintra.

In order to get a fulfilling experience from Sintra, I highly recommend staying at Bella Vista. This place is truly worthy of 5 stars from the location, spectacular view, contemporary appearance, comfy bed, large window doors, clean bathroom and a delightful breakfast. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to us from day one till the last day when we were having difficulties with our transportation. My wife and I want to plan a return trip to Sintra just to stay at Bella Vista. The only negative from our stay was that we were only there for 3 nights. Magnusen Family

We stayed 4 nights at Villa Bela Vista and found the hotel luxurious, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. The breakfast was elegant, delicious, and served in a wonderful dining area with a beautiful new of the valley. It feels like a very well appointed home with a great service. We recommend this hotel to those who travel to Sintra. Sintra is not very car-friemdly and if you can avoid driving, it will be more practical and comfortable. Uber is easily available if you need a car although you will end up walking to most places.

The property is beautiful and beautifully decorated, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. Our suite included a mini-kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave and dishes and utensils, together with a small fold-out table and chairs which came in handy for storing food for our departure before the breakfast hour started. The breakfast was outstanding so we were sad to miss it on our last morning, and the property manager was very pleasant and provided lots of recommendations of restaurants and things to do and see. I highly recommend Villa Bela Vista. Its one drawback is that it is a little difficult to reach from the town, due to Sintra's system of one-way streets. It was about a 7 euro cab ride from the train station. When leaving, we rolled our suitcases down pedestrian streets to the main square in the old town and were able to catch a taxi there. We didn't have a car for which we were grateful: traffic is heavy and I don't know if the Villa has any parking available.

Beautiful property near the heart of Sintra. Great
Beautiful property with fantastic views of Sintra. Newly renovated and appointed. Our bed was very comfortable. The room was fantastic, replete with tall windows and shutters, a marble bathroom with a stunning tub and shower. Located just a few minutes walk from center city Sintra where there are bare, restaurants, and shops galore. The only issue is getting into the hotel. The street be is busy in front of the hotel door. If you have a lot of luggage or bags, you’ll have to carefully manage getting them across the street from the parking area. And you have to be very careful not to miss the hotel as you drive the loop to Sintra’s most popular historical sites — the Moorish castle and the National Palace.

We had an incredible stay at this wonderful property. The view from our room was stunning. The property is clean and well-appointed. Marisa could not have been nicer! She was so welcoming and gave excellent advice and suggestions. All of the staff were accommodating and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful with many options. Vila Bela Vista exceeded our expectations and was at a perfect location too. Sintra was the highlight of our trip. Thanks!

Such an amazing view. The bed was so so, as it had some sort of plastic which made it uncomfortable and noisy, but we loved the room, location and the food. We did the a la carte at the restaurant and it was delicious! A wonderful place!!

When you first arrive at the hotel you think “hmm seems a bit close to the road maybe” but once inside and once you see the views and the vibe of the place (and the wonderful friendly staff), you see why it has such good reviews. An ideal location for discovering the magical Sintra by foot. We will be back. Just one note of caution: make sure you park in the spaces on left just before the hotel. If you drive past the hotel then you have to spend 35 minutes going all the way back round to get back to the same parking spaces.

Location is great. It’s just steps from the bus route to bring you to all the castles. And easy (but hilly) walking to all restaurants. The staff is amazing. It was our first time in Sintra so we had some questions and the staff was so helpful! They made suggestions, ensured we knew where to go and ordered our taxis for us. The included breakfast was AMAZING! The orange juice was fresh squeezed, the fruit was fresh and presented beautifully. Definitely a high-end breakfast. Our room was perfectly clean. It seemed like it was renovated fairly recently. Highly recommend this place!
