Late arrival so called and got a room code!
Arrived late after 13 hour drive. I called earlier to let them know so Bryce gave us code for our 2 rooms. Perfect. Upon inspecting, someone forgot to clean out left over food from fridge and someone’s bathing bottom on shower curtain. I text Bryce about this next day. Came home from full day hiking thinking room cleaned. Nope! I went to office to show pictures. The house keeper came right away to clean it all out and sanitize. Our sheets (bed) and towels were clean. I’m good with that. Guy from office came and looked. I did not ever get a response from Bryce about this. I have been to Asia numerous time, I can overlook things. But someone else might not be able to! Cute place, everything you need. Not fancy, basic accommodation with great parking and wonderful to sit outside in morning for sunrise. Only downer was restaurant was closed both days we were there. Closed Monday and Tuesdays. I would stay here again, mistakes happen. Housekeeper that came to rescue was great:) Don’t hesitate to book. It’s fine.

We've stayed in many places in Escalate, but this was the first time we had stayed here and its going on the list of places we will return to. Highly recommend. It was simple, but perfectly comfortable and the cafe next door was delicious.

Friendly staff. Restaurant on the property. They have a campfire at night if that's your thing. I liked the key code instead of a physical card to get into the rooms.

Nie wieder
Das Motel liegt direkt an der Straße. Das Zimmer war unmöglich, schmutzig und viel zu hellhörig. Das angeschlossene Restaurant, welches wohl nicht zum Motel gehört, war eine Katastrophe. Man musste Ewigkeiten auf die Getränke warten und die Burger waren roh. Werden das Restaurant separat bewerten.

Bryce made me feel very welcome and the room was old, but updated and nice. The attached restaurant was convenient and very good. After dinner there was a fire pit lit up and chairs to relax in.

Pleasant surprise
Great hotel. When we drove up it looked 1950s. Kind of cool but when we opened the room door we were pleasantly surprised; It was def 2020 inside great room excellent cafe. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend this place. 10 out of 10.
