Disappointing stay despite great location
Great location and friendly staff, but sadly that wasn't enough for us to fully enjoy our stay. Our room on the top floor was quite small, which would have been fine, but the bigger issue was the poor condition of the room. The walls were stained, and both the window and room showed significant damage from humidity, with no ventilation in the bathroom. Additionally, the noise in the corridors throughout the night kept waking us up, as you can hear everything. Despite the no-smoking policy, the smell of cannabis was noticeable, suggesting not everyone follows the rules. Overall, not worth the price.

Convenient location, relatively comfortable
The location is very convenient for those arriving by train. Very close to Centraal Station and easy to walk to. The hotel is very tucked in on a pedestrian only street. The street is very busy with shops, bars and restaurants. There is a grocery store very near by. There are very steep stairs with no lifts, so just be aware of that. No rooms are on the ground floor so not accessible for those with mobility issues. The rooms are small but nice. They’re relatively up to date and comfortable. It feels safe because you need to use your room key to get in the building.

Het hotel bevindt zich in een buurt met veel koffieshops en sekswinkels. Het voelt niet onveilig aan, maar dat is wel een beperking. Om te winkelen moet je een stuk verder zijn. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, maakte koffie voor ons en hielp ons de koffers de lange trap af te dragen. Er is geen ontbijt (maar dus wel koffie).

I picked this because it was close to the station. It was not cheap so I assumed that it was a regular hotel. Wrong -- it is more like a hostel, no facilities, small room, staircase rather than lift (an issue if you are on the top floor). And on a pedestrian street, so that a taxi is not an option. All of that being said, it was clean, and well kept . I just got it all wrong. But it worked out, more or less.

Fint och fräscht hotell i väldigt bra läge, centralt och väldigt nära tågstationen. Rummet var rent och fint, men ganska litet. Funkade bra då vi ändå inte hängde där så mycket. AC:n fungerade bra även om den lät ganska mycket. Lite lyhört ut till korridoren, men inget vi stördes av då det bara var tre rum i samma korridor. Annars väldigt tyst. Var dock medvetna om att det inte finns någon hiss, och att även receptionen ligger en våning upp, så du kommer att behöva kunna bära upp din packning för åtminstone en trappa. Dessutom ganska branta och smala trappor. Men allt som allt en väldigt bra hotellupplevelse.
