Good but noisy evenings
We found the Reception staff helpful but check the local charges that you pay on arrival.
The hotel is smartly decorated throughout with new furnishings on all floors apart from the second which still has the old doors and furniture.
Virtually all of the rooms face the swimming pool which is attractive. The young guys manning the PA system usually have it at a reasonable volume but like to have it really loud at times. Our main issue was in the evenings when they have it very loud until 11pm. No chance of a quiet drink on your balcony or in your room.
The food and restaurant are OK but can get quite crowded and noisy at peak evening or breakfast not helped by the same background music every day.
We were on full board which was an excellent deal but went down to the beach area two evenings where there are 4 good restaurants and you can get a main course for two and bottle of wine for less that 40GBP.
There is a desk in Reception where the guy will arrange trips. We did the half day city tour and one to the Medina which were both good.
