You get what you pay for
The staff were very friendly, but the property was in rough shape. It’s definitely a “you get what you pay for.” We appreciated the location across the street from the Legacy Castle, but it’s not walkable.
Even though it’s advertised as non smoking the halls smelled of cigarettes and must and the room wasn’t much better. The room was dim and dingy. But the worst was the bed. We questioned if the bed was a mattress or just the box spring—the carpet floor was softer. You could feel all of the metal coils and it was impossible to get a comfortable position. There was no comforter, just some scratchy sheets and blanket.
