Great value
The hotel is well positioned for going to the beach, bus stop and lots of restaurants.The front desk is quite cheerful. Next door there’s a cafe - Season’s cafe- that had great choices for warm sandwiches. The room is standard- what we really liked was the shower! The shower is really large and it drains in a sleek way, it’s very cool. Housekeeping is not included unless you have a longer stay- like us, we were there 6 nights. Even then, we had to request the said cleaning multiple times before it happened. Not sure what the deal was with that. It’s true that if your neighbors are loud you can hear them. However that didn’t particularly bother us, and while we brought earplugs after reading other reviews, we ended up not using them.

Sonder The Abbey exceeded my expectations. Room was very clean, well laid out, and comfortable. Excellent location. I only spent one night but would be happy to have stayed longer.

Everything was perfect inside and around the hotel. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away, the surrounding park looks stunning and the hotel was as clean and cosy as its team was friendly. It's more than worth its reasonable price; I'd come back should I rebook a trip to Miami.

Lost our reservation. Stuck us in a room with 2 double beds. Elevator didn’t work, lugged 90 pounds up 3 flights of stairs. AC didn’t go below 75. Tried to kick us out the next day to clean room we were in while our actual room was being prepared. Asked for time frame and couldn’t give us one. After arguing with the lady, she allowed us to stay in our room until we were ready. 3 hours later room still wasn’t ready. Waited 30 minutes in lobby. Told us the elevator was working, it was not and had to pull luggage up 3 flights again. No worker offered help. New room still wouldn’t go below 75, fridge was warm, shampoo/ conditioner empty and broken. Asked them to fix ac, said they did. Still didn’t work. Offered us another room and then said room was unavailable. Finally offered a fan which did help. My only regret and worst part of the trip was this hotel. I would never recommend to anyone. Extremely stressful.

Reservation was lost. Gave us a room with 2 double beds, AC wouldn’t go below 75. We asked how long until our room was ready, she couldn’t give us a time frame. We said no, we’re not leaving right now. 3 hours later, room still wasn’t ready. Packed up and went to lobby to wait another 30 minutes. Got to our room and ac still wouldn’t go below 75. Shower doesn’t get hot. No shampoo or conditioner in shower bottles. Also broken, took pictures. Fridge wasn’t cold. Elevator didn’t work the entire time. Told front desk the ac didn’t work, told us they fixed it. Still 75. Offered us another room, then said room was unavailable. Finally offered a fan which did help. Had to lug 90 pound luggage up and down stairs three times. The hotel was my only regret and worst part of the trip.

Scummy guy at check-in tired to scam me into paying a 2nd time. Failed to mention the parking garage doesn’t allow motorcycles. Too many blinking lights in the room. Couldn’t black it out. No coffee bar in the morning. Bed was super comfy but not returning.

O hotel é muito bom! O check in foi muito rápido, o hotel é agradável , as instalações são novas e de muito bom gosto . O quarto que fiquei era amplo, o banheiro espaçoso. Próximo ao hotel há estacionamentos públicos e particulares. E possível ir a pé até a praia , que fica a apenas uns metros. No dia do check out o hotel guardou minhas malas de forma organizada e sem qualquer custos adicional. Recomendo e espero voltar a me hospedar.

Great Quaint Hotel Close to Beach
Loved this hotel! It was small and simple but cute! Right on the beach and super affordable! Only thing is they didn’t have any tv channels Or apps so you literally have to plug up your phone or laptop.

The hotel was great, good location but just take into consideration the parking. If you are driving in or renting a vehicle, parking will be a hassle in the area. They will suggest a couple of parking garages that have a nightly rate. We found it easier to park in the nearby public spaces for much cheaper. Keep in mind, these spot have a maximum time limit so you will need to renew the parking every few hours, even in the night.
