First All Inclusive

This was our summer vacation. Never been to N all inclusive. We upgraded to club level on recommendation by some friends that have been to similar places. We thought we would benefit from this but really didn’t for the extra cost. It did give you a separate pool, lounge, restaurant (with a bit of an upgrade from the others), beach area and special Checkin. They never he led to see if we belonged at the pool or beach area. Did check at lounge and restaurant. Checkin did not matter as resort was not busy at time. With all said, recommend to check and see if it is a busy part of season and if not, the club level not really worth it. Also check in and see if it is during their stormy season. The sea moss coming on shore was so much that you could not get in the water. Overall experience, food, amenities was great. No complaints. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Place was clean.

We had such an amazing time and it's been hard to face normalcy after this trip, so it has taken me over a week being home, to write this review. While I would like to recognize every single person at this wonderful resort by name, unfortunately, I can't, but everyone was super friendly and helpful!! Jose was great at keeping up with our daily happiness and making sure everything was going as expected. Marcial, Yinaury, and Emmanul at the Prelude Bar were our absolute favorite bartenders! We frequented their bar the most and enjoyed them all very much! They had our morning coffee (tequila shots) ready as soon as they saw us approaching. I had 1 bad incident with an unfriendly employee during an activity. While I do not wish to reveal her name, she was not friendly to me. I joined an activity a few minutes late and she proceeded to ignore me when I asked her questions, until she had no choice but to deal with me and was very rude! The only 2 complaints I have is the maps around the resort and the app do not mention where the public bathrooms are located, which would have been helpful until you were at the resort long enough to gather your surroundings. Smoking is permitted everywhere outside, that is the last thing I wanted was a fog of stink in my face while enjoying a drink at the bar or eating at an outside restaurant.

Resort was beautiful, clean and staff was welcoming. Plenty of food options, downside was that restaurants close too early. Most hotel activities were catered to Americans which washed down their culture experience we would have rather experienced.

Fairly compact property with well kept grounds, nice pool and beach (fairly rough waters in this area). Outstanding service throughout. Though the atmosphere is generally fairly laid back, there is plenty of entertainment as well as a very good gym. Only minor dissapointment was the food, though still more than adequate.

Buenas instalaciones - piscinas, entretenimiento y zonas para estar en la playa, pero la limpieza podría mejorar mucho (había una cucaracha muerta en el suelo en el segundo día, nos quedamos 6 días y allí se quedó todos los días). La comida es buena en el The Grill y en el buffet pero en los demás restaurantes tienen muy pocas opciones a elegir y son un poco regulares. La mampara de nuestra habitación olía muy mal y aunque les pedimos que lo revisasen, no lo hicieron. Las almohadas cada día tenían peor olor y no las cambiaron hasta que les llamamos (ya en el 4° día) y les pedimos que las cambiaran ya que solo nos quedaba 1 que se podría usar (de 6). El personal ha sido muy amable.

I was very nervous booking through Expedia for this trip but it was very helpful to book both the stay and flights in one! The only thing I added on was transport to the airport and I strongly suggest having that booked (we used DAT). Excellence was absolutely amazing. All of the staff are friendly and make sure guests are satisfied and have a drink in their hand! There are so many options of things to do during the day around the pool, at the gym and at night. You truly do not need to leave the resort to have a good time (but they have a lot of excursion options if you wanted to leave that pick you up right at the resort). All of the food was delicious. No stomach issues at all. They provided bottled water all throughout the resort as well. Drinks were amazing - they could really make anything you wanted and they have waiters and waitresses walking around at all times to make sure you don’t need a refill. The resort was spotless, staff cleaning around the clock to ensure that. Room service was amazing with a very vast menu available 24/7! When we wanted our room cleaned they did an amazing job. Also they have a safe in the room for your belongings. This was the best stay I have ever had!
