No volveré
El hotel está super viejo y los cuartos mugrosos. El lobby se ve muy bonito y tiene una vista hermosa, pero pues como la mayoria de hoteles en cancun. Las llaves se desactivan al tenerlas cerca de tarjetas y celulares y tienes que ir a cada rato a activarlas aunque la traigas en una bolsita separada es dificil que no se desactiven. Los buffets tienen casi puro cerdo, no hay carnes y pollo solamente ponen piernas. Muy pobres los buffets para lo mucho que se paga por noche. Tiene restaurantes a los que puedes ir en la tarde pero solo con reservación y solo puedes reservar yendo a recepcion ese mismo dia a las 7 am a hacer fila… te piden codigo de vestimenta segun para entrar, pantalon, camisa y zapato cerrado. Mi novio llevó todo eso y al llegar al restaurante todos los demás hombres andaban en shorts y chanclas. Hasta mujeres traian chanclas y yo pregunté si era necesario que yo tambien llevara zapato cerrado y dijeron que si. Lo unico bueno fue la comida del restaurante de mariscos. En general no me gustó el hotel, todo lo de barra tambien malísimo los que atienden no saben hacer tragos, no son bartenders como que son personas que contratan para cualquier cosa y los ponen en barra. Tienen pura cerveza corona, malísima. La barra que es 24 hrs solo tiene 1 mesero y de noche se llena de turistas que van a salir o vienen llegando y para que te atiendan es una filota. Puedes encontrar un hotel de mejor calidad por ese mismo precio.

You get what you pay for. I arrived at 3:30pm & didn't get into my room until 6:30. One person at front desk. No map of property or explanation of where restaurants were, towels for pools or any other services provided. I walked around until I figured it out & asked other guests. Concierge brought me to the elevator...I've always been brought up to the room & shown basic functions of room. Air conditioner was stuck at 24 celsius (74 F) no matter what it was set at (I set much lower & temps never lowered). Spacious room with comfy beds. Rooms were never refreshed or restocked until I called front desk, which was in the evening. Housekeeping was so non-existant until I complained to the manager. The last day my room was refreshed without having to call front desk--too late. Beautiful beach with no palapas, umbrellas or shade. Pool area umbrellas were broken-one stayed open. No one was around to assist. Food looked beautiful but was bland & flavorless. Anything other than buffet needed reservations which took forever because they were also selling tours at same desk. I've stayed at other Barcelos and expected similar quality. Each Barcelo must operate on different managerial programs and this one was very disappointing & lacking. Totally understaffed housekeeping & front desk really makes for a substandard experience. Spend your money elsewhere.

First time travelling. The staff at the resort were very helpful with all questions I had. Room was regularly cleaned and fridge re-stocked. Bed was pretty uncomfortable and the sheets had a musky smell. Bartenders were very prompt and drinks were great. Beach and pool areas were wonderful and very clean. Only issue and it was quite a major one is that the food is very below-par. There is enough selection with the buffets and restaurants but the quality was really rough and made it difficult for the whole trip. I would not return and spend more money on somewhere with higher quality food as it really hampers the overall enjoyment of the trip.

Hotel bem razoável. Já fui outras vezes para Cancún e esse eu não volto. Comida bem mais ou menos, corredor dos quartos ficou sujo durante toda a estadia, e o pior é que quando chegamos nossa reserva não estava confirmada e nos colocaram em outro quarto, o qual não escolhemos. No geral o que mais gostei mesmo foram as piscinas.

Beautiful beach!! Stayed in one of the villa rooms which had the most amazing views. Staff were great especially the bar tenders. Alcohol only served from 11am-11pm which was a little disappointing. Sales pitches were annoying, don't get caught.

Bem ok. Não tem padrão de 4 estrelas nunca!
A estadia foi boa. Porém a comida e bebida do hotel eram muito ruins. Comida sem graça e insossa, nada tradicional. Buffet internacional bem pobre e reduzido. As bebidas em geral eram bem fracas também. Chuveiro com fluxo irregular de temperatura. Não tinha nem condicionador no quarto ou disponível mediante solicitação. Fila grande para solicitação de bebidas nos bares. Não tem serviço de praia. Os pontos altos são a localização, o conforto da cama e o atendimento atencioso do staff.

It was clean, family oriented and the hospitality was amazing 👏 all the staff was great but especially the bartender Evely perez who was a kind hearted person my mother really liked her 🫶👌. We booked this hotel because of the location and the beach. Location is steller and is minutes from everything Cancun has to offer. The beach and ocean access are great. We spent hours swimming and boogie boarding in the ocean and pools. Another great thing about this hotel was the staff. Friendly, helpful and amazing people. Thats the good....now the bad. If you like good food and nice hotel rooms, find another hotel. The food was terrible and the rooms were dated and falling apart. Sporatic AC, leaking plumbing, cold food, bland food, lack of food variety....we went out to eat 5 nights out of 7 nights.
