mix up and noisy neighbours
when we tried to check in our reservation could not be found, apparently 12 days earlier a receptionist accidentally assigned our reservation to another person; it took about 1/2h to resolve the problem and we were the only ones checking in at the time. The customers in the adjacent room were up ALL night with the TV on and they were in and out of their room multiple times. We spoke with a customer across the hall and she was upset to have her sleep disrupted multiple times

Room was nice, staff was great. We've stayed at that location for years before brand change. The pillows were WAY TOO SOFT, a firm option would have been nice or half n half. Beds soft but okay. Found a spider in the sleeping area, a toenail and a cobweb in the bathroom. Couldn't get hot water in the shower. Shower handrail would be nice too. Breakfast was okay. Overall not bad, we know stuff happens and we were only there one night.

The rooms and the hotel are very clean. It did not smell like cleaner, it was just clean. The continental breakfast was hot and delicious with many options. Front desk was very hospital, friendly and many smiles. It was a great experience. I would recommend the Quality Inn and Suites to anyone looking to stay in Grimsby or the surrounding area. Thank you for your excellent hospitality.

Nice clean hotel with partial view of Lake Ontario. Grimsby on The Lake is a wonderful waterfront park ideal for walking along the shoreline. With the exchange rate, this place is an excellent value for Americans. One of few places I've stayed in recent days where the rate including fees and taxes was below $100.
