O Melia Cozumel oferece uma experiência diferenciada para quem faz opção da UPGRADE The Level, realmente há um diferencial na hospedagem que vale muito a pena. O atendimento é exclusivo e a localização dos quartos excelente, todos com uma vista linda para o mar. Você recebe atendimento individual de um concierge. A atenção de todos os funcionários é um diferencial, sempre cordiais e prestativos. A praia do hotel infelizmente não é adequada para banho, será necessário fazer um passeio ou andar um pouco para outro lado. Estivemos lá em Outubro, acredito que baixa temporada, portanto tivemos uma experiência muito agradável sem lotações e excesso de pessoas, foi tudo muito tranquilo. Esta é uma opção de hospedagem mais tranquila, sem agitações (pelo menos em Outubro).

Mildew, poor air conditioning and service

The resort had good amenities for families, including 3 restaurants, kids pool and adult only pool, bars, indoor and outdoor activities, etc. we went as a couple for a week in August 2025 and we were disappointed to learn that one restaurant was not operating due to mosquitoes. This limited us to the main buffet restaurant and a restaurant where we could eat max 3 times during our stay and had to reserve specific evenings ahead for the week. The main buffet restaurant had poor climate control and was very hot during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests were looking for the coolest spots to sit, but the overall temperature was hot and sticky with loud fans trying to cool the place since the air conditioning was ineffective. The main concern was the smell in the rooms. A mixture of strong mildew and industrial cleaning products, which was unpleasant. The bedding felt damp and our clothes were also damp throughout our stay and smelled terrible upon return home. Nothing we have experienced before. The service overall was average with a few very friendly and helpful members of staff and a few most unfriendly and unhelpful - a mixed standard almost confusing they worked at the same resort. We made the most of our week by heading to the south part of the island where the beach was stunning and the waters were clear, which fortunately made for an enjoyable break.

Al llegar se tenía clausurado los dos restaurantes y se improvisó el desayuno en el teatro, para el segundo día en la noche se abrieron ambos restaurantes. Tiene una área llamada level que tiene privilegios, son las misma a instalaciones pero se acordona el área, nos tumbamos en unas sillas de playa y nos pidieron retirarnos, aunque el área que no era level se llenaba. La reservación a los restaurantes a la carta se separan por semana y se llenan rápido, no puedes reservar de un día para otro, y depende de los días que te hospedes el número de veces que puedes reservar. La limpieza estaba excelente, habitación, restaurantes, incluso en la playa recogían el sargazo que llegaba. El personal es muy amable, todos en particular en los restaurantes y en el bar que aunque estaba lleno atendían con prontitud.

It’s a small all inclusive resort. I’ve been to the Melia Cancun and Riviera Maya which is why I picked this resort for my visit to Cozumel. At first I was a bit dissapointed. It felt limited. The pools are small, limited bars, no beach service, small buffet area, only two reservation restaurants that were all booked but the longer we stayed I warmed up to it. The staff is very nice, found a nice beach area to the left of the resort. Very relaxing and family oriented .

Friendly and accommodating staff. Property is in a nice location at the north end of the island. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Would definitely come back!

We couldn’t use a beach for 2/3 of our stay, because of sea weed. They veer cleaning beach for 4 days, with 1 employee and smallest truck.

The staff is friendly and welcoming in the hotel, bars and dining areas. The people at the front desk are incredibly helpful. The system for reserving cabanas and the staff who run it are not as helpful. We made a mistake in reserving got yelled at and then got no service on the beach for the second week of our stay.

The property is beautiful. We stayed in the Level Up rooms on the on beach. While there was a ton of seaweed in the ocean and really not swimmable, the resort next door had none and that is where we went for snorkeling and swimming. The staff were excellent. The swim up bar was awesome, but it was closed for the last three days we were there and that was a bit disappointing but the lobby bar was open and staff made sure we had drinks when needed. The food is just okay, but we did not have high expectations so it was fine. Breakfast in the Fish House never disappointed. We all had some sort gastrointestinal issues and could have been from the buffet as it was hot and a lot of flies. I would most definitely visit again, but never again in July as it is just too hot.

Me gustó que la habitación tenía todo lo necesario, la poca distancia a la alberca, restaurantes y lobby es una ventaja, el ambiente es muy familiar y nunca se sintieron saturados los restaurantes ni las albercas y siempre encontramos camastros en la playa. Todo el personal, desde recepción, meseros, limpieza, bares, animación siempre mostró una excelente actitud. Lo único que no me gustó es que nunca hubo pizza en el buffet.

Great customer service. Staff at the Buffett was fantastic from the gentleman making omelets to the wait staff. Bartenders were great as well. Housekeeping did a great job daily.
