Always a Great Stay
A return teip to HHC for a 15 year wedding vow renewal after getting married around the pool in 2009. Roman was, and still is the very best innkeeper, always a smile, and remembers everyone by name. He is the most gracious host, and the property is lucky to have him. Housekeeping kept the room clean, and although the a/c units looked a big aged, our room was nice and chilly at night, just the way we like it. Pool was the perfect temperature, and Key West was less crowded this time of year.

What a pleasant experience
What a pleasure to stay at this authentic hotel where the guest is THE priority. Typical Key West atmosphere. A wonderful receptionist who takes time for his guests. Key West was on my bucket list for years. I did it; was way too short; I will be back.

Gepflegtes Hotel im Key West Stil, zentrale LAGE
Ein sehr authentisches Hotel im Key West Stil. Wenn es auch in die Jahre gekommen ist, es wird gehegt u. gepflegt. Nur schon der schöne Frischblumen-Schmuck auf dem antiken grossen Tisch ist ein Augenschmaus. Mein Zimmer war sehr gepflegt u. sauber. Das Morgenessen ist sehr appetitlich, vielfältig u. mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Betreuung durch Roman (Chef?), geht von der PP-Zuteilung bis zum Reiseberater! Für jede Frage u. Problemchen, Roman ist der Richtige! Ein Vollblut Touristen-Betreuer wie es im Buche steht! Alte deutsche Schule, natürlich im positiven Sinn! Ich werde nächstes Jahr sicher wieder kommen.

Loved our stay. Price was acceptable.
It was a wonderful place to stay. Roman at the front desk acted as a concierge and was wonderful to work with. Both of the rooms that we stayed in during our time in key West, were very nice and clean. Both rooms had window air conditioners; the second room we stayed in was a little warm and the AC had a hard time keeping up because it was on the west side of the building with the sun going down in the evening.

Overall, this is a good place for the price. It is within a 15 minute walk of most locations. The room itself was nice, with a comfortable bed. The location is quiet and low key. My only complaint is the bathroom could have used updating, and the shower did not get hot. We did stay here previously (in a different room) and had no issue with water temperature then.

Heron House Court is recommended for those looking for a relaxing, adult-only escape in the heart of Key West. It’s peaceful, and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here a few times and it’s always been a pleasure visiting.

This place is nice and quiet, like all key west, this is an older place but really well kept. A little bit far from Duval Street but walkable, 15 min approx. parking is an issue too

Not service animal friendly
We overall had a great stay. We normally stay at heron house and not the court. We have stayed multiple times at the other location with our service animals. The first morning after arriving, I wake up to a voicemail from the front desk about our service animals. I went to speak to the front desk and he claims I didn’t tell him about the service animals and it’s for everyone’s safety. I told him I messaged the property via this app as I AÑWAYS do and then he started to tell Me it was him and had to be the other hotel. I told him not would he like to see the messages and he said no. I also told him the dogs have their identification on and we always bring a service sign for the door of the hotel room. It was unnecessary and uncomfortable. The other location embraces the services animals and this one does not. It made enough of an impact, that we will make sure to only stay at the other non Court location. Otherwise the stay was fine. They do lock up the ice machine so none of the guest can get ice. So odd. Also limited offerings of water so I went to the hotel next door where we have stayed and they gave us water.

The host was amazing and friendly, overall a fantastic experience. Additionally, he gave great advice on things in key west to do. The building is a bit older but in great condition. The only downside is parking as you have to ensure it is not residential and might have to walk a little bit.
