Decent stay, but with some issues to improve

The hotel is a bit run-down in some areas. We had some issues with the heating and the shower during the first few days, but they eventually fixed the problem. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly hotel, but you shouldn’t expect great service or top-notch facilities. El hotel está algo descuidado en algunas areaa. Tuvimos problemas con la calefacción y la regadera durante los primeros días, aunque finalmente nos solucionaron el inconveniente. En general, es un hotel económico, pero no se debe esperar gran calidad en el servicio ni las mejores instalaciones.

Reporté una gotera en la regaderas en 4 ocasiones y no repararon nada, ademas del.twrrible desperdició de agua, el sonido no dejaba dormir y descansar. La señorita que da la bienvenida e informa de los seevcios del hotel, nos hizo sentir que compramos una pésima opción y caro, ya que hacía referencia al otro hotel hacienda de 4 estrellas y que él que había elegido era algo muy básica (palabras literales) y que además con expedia habia pagado 25% más que si lo hubiera comprado directamente con ellos, lo cual fue falso y retomó el tema argumentando que las agencias compran por muchas habitaciones pero las peores.

Con un paquete todo inculudo pudimos disfrutar del buffete en nuestras tres comidas. Todos los alimentos fueron muy ricos. La cena mexicana incluyó platillos típicos de la región muy sabrosos. Las bebidas también de muy buena calidad y sabor. Las habitaciones son muy aplias con muy buenos servicios. El transporte a la playa que está sólo a 10 minutos caminando muy conveniente. Bebidas y snack en la playa con camastros y sombrillas.

The front desk staff was amazing. Lara and Jezicka were very helpful and nice. When we had a small issue they took care of us which made a huge impact on our stay. The bell hops were very helpful with taxis and reconditions for things to see and do. Overall is was a wonderful experience.

The hotel is located in a great area but the rooms itself need some updating and remodeling I understand the concept of keep it rustic looking but it needs some work done broken tiles in the bathroom, mold in the shower area, damage furniture, room door with a huge gap where it doesn’t close right makes you think someone can open the door with a hard push. Food was not good they don’t have a big enough buffet service was not great either and they have waiters couple of times had to request my own utensils and drink refills and I just don’t want to keep going.

En general fue una estancia agradable, alimentos y bebidas buenos… Empleados muy amables .. servicio excelente.. El único problema que presentamos, fue que el aire acondicionado no daba abasto para enfriar la habitación!

This property was HORRIBLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS PROPERTY EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. I'm serious when I say this. I paid almost 600 bucks (expedia charged me for 2 people and it didn't give me the option to put one guest when booking and when i showed up to the property, I was charged for two people) - reason #1 why i leave a bad review. -reason #2: the hotel had NO AC. It was a tropical theme meaning everything was open so the lobby did not have even a fan. It was very hot and humid and miserable. Well at least the rooms had AC? Wrong! The building is so old the AC unit didn't even work so sleeping was impossible. There was mold everywhere through the building and rooms. -reason #3: the food. Since it was a tropical theme, the hotel thought it would be a great idea to let the buffet be in the OPEN where flies and bugs were constantly flying in. The food was soggy and horrible. There was not even a staff near the food to manage the hygiene. Oh if you want steak or any quality fresh made food you have to over pay for it but that defeats the purpose because it is an ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL!!!. I ended up getting food poisoning and spent a whole day in my room trying to recover and i had to basically wet the bed to make it cool since the room's ac did not function properly. I told the staff several times regarding the ac and they did nothing. -reason #4: the alcohol. Not suprised but they used the cheapest alcohol and the bar was so broken down it did not look appealing.
