Great stay!
Great hotel, clean and modern. Superb free breakfast with hot food. Bar is great, and live the happy hour prices. The patio overlooking the bay is very nice and relaxing. Plus superb close to the airport. I highly recommend!

Great Reception staff but terrible hotel
The only thing I liked about the hotel is the reception staff. hotel needs a lot of improvement and money invested back in. Found fleas and mosquitos in the room and the beds were smelly and dampness. There was constant problem of breakfast refilling and it was same all the four days while we stayed. A very congested place for breakfast. The hotel shuttled made us wait for 30 mins although it was supposed to be at top of the hour. I will not recommend the hotel, as there are multiple choices around within the same price bracket. Even we stayed there but they charged is $80 for days parking.

This place was ok. One thing I found super strange was that wash basin is in the room with no door.. which means no privacy. The sofa mattress was not comfortable. They changed our room but still the other room had uncomfortable mattress.

Upgrade needed.
The hotell needs complete upgrade, un-fresh, it feels unclean from bottom to top. one time use paper/plastic plates etc on breakfast not so great for eco friendly point of view.. shuttle to the Miami port from hotell arrives 45+min late for pickup, ended up booking uber. Worse Marriott in condition, I have ever seen. Staff really kind and helpful. Time to re-invest in the property…

Good for anyone cruising out of Port of Miami
Stayed here the night prior to a cruise. The room was large and suited our needs. The location for anyone without a vehicle (us) was slightly problematic. The shuttle offering was limited and the gentleman did not speak English. The front desk staff was wonderful.

Hotel needs updating
It should be clarified when booking that the shuttle doesn’t pick up regularly, you need to call on arrival. We waited over an hour. Then the driver drove through a strip mall parking lot stating he had to pick up his boss but his boss was no where to be found. Very strange. Upon arrival, the young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. There was only 1 functioning elevator and the hotel lobby looked very dated and tired. Not really worth the money we paid.

Good value
We stayed here twice on our round trip to Costa Rice. It is convenient to the airport given the shuttle, although it inconveniently runs only once an hour. The “restaurant” food is only fair and expensive. Good breakfast. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms.

Pre cruise turnover shop.
Stayed one night, pre cruise. Elevator did not work. Bar tender did not show for work, so they cancelled the manager reception and closed the bar. Staff was oblivious to guest needs. Shuttle did not take or pick up guests within the local neighborhood as promised. I called for a shuttle to pick me up from a local restaurant and was on hold. Had to uber back to the hotel. Seems they just keep turning out pre cruise guests for the next day cruise. They expect you to take the over priced shuttle to the cruise port. Will not return to this hotel.

Shame on you Marriott!
First off, we waited over an hour for transportation to pick my family up from the airport. Later we found out that there was only one transportation van! Every we’d call the lady kept saying he’s on his way, we were 15 mins from the airport in the business district. Once we reached to hotel, springhills of Marriott there was only one person at the service desk and that also took over an hour for 3 rooms that were booked in advance. there were two elevators but only one working, we had to use the stairs up four flights for the rest of the night. The hallway reeked of wet musty carpet and other unpleasant smells, and rooms carpet smelled the same way but more chemically! No windows opened so we used the air conditioner the whole night with the outside temperature of only 50 degrees. There were no hand soaps or shower gels to use period! We had to unpack our suit cases for an 8 day cruise for those items. Our second day after returning from the cruise the same situation continued only this time we made mention of the conditions, with nothing being done other than staff spraying a heavy perfume down the hallway. Snack area was poorly stocked behind the registration desk. Popcorn being offered we had to use 8oz cups from underneath the registration desk that had already been opened, no bags were found or offered. We had a party of 12 to be transported back to the airport the next morning with again only one transport van and other families were left waiting and had to use a lift!

La habitación era cómoda, lo único que cuando limosina la habitación no recogen basura ni nada que dejamos para botar, en el mismo lugar volvíamos a encontrarlo. Y lo otro era que un ascensor no funcionaba entonces era un poco lento subir a la habitación
