This hotel felt like a charming throw-back to the grand European hotels of the early 20th Century. We really loved it. Fabulous pool. Wonderful breakfast. Service was very good. Rooms were lovely.

Wonderful hotel with lots of history. Breakfast included was wonderful each morning. Ourdoor pool area and grounds were beautiful. Included day use at the spa was much appreciated as well. Not a lot of action outside of hotel, other than the casino. Limited restaurant options. Easy Uber to Cascais where there is lots of shopping and restaurants.

Best hotel I have stayed at

This is such a great hotel with world class service. You can really feel the history of this hotel, which we loved. All the people working at this hotel are just lovely. The breakfast has everything you want. The bar is cozy. The rooms are really nice with an older and more classic style. The pool area was great, so we never even bothered going to the beach. If you are going to Estoril/Cascais I would highly recommend you staying at Palácio.

An old world grand hotel with very attentive staff. I cannot fault the hotel, except that the pool water has no heating and this should be mentioned in the info about the hotel. The highlight is the staff who try to assist all guests in every way possible.

Great destination

Lovely hotel with long history within monarcs and surprisingly Ian Fleming. Area had nice restaurants. Only negative was their restaurant where they were back in the old days where ladies menu didn't include any prices. Not an equal approach I might say.

Great start, terrible ending

As soon as we got to the hotel we were amazed by the service of the friendly staff. Everything took a bad turn on our last day when a small bag of jewelry went missing after housekeeping had been in our room to clean. We had put the small bag in a make up bag on a table, so there’s no way it went missing on its own. If you’re going to stay here, put everything of value in a safe box because the employees clearly can’t be trusted. Because of this incident, we will never return to this hotel and I advise anyone I know to stay away from it.
