This was an absolutely beautiful resort. And our room was spacious with a spectacular walk out view of a most stunning beach. However, it’s tired and it needs some attention. Our bed mattress was in real bad shape and it definitely needs to be replaced. The cushions on the benches on the patio have absolutely no firmness to the foam anymore. We didn’t have any kitchen utensils at all, dishes, glasses, flatware, nothing. And, I know we’re coming out of a pandemic; but we had just come from The Westin in St. John where the kitchen was entirely equipped which made it extremely convenient to stay a long time. I hate to even write bad reviews and I know the islands had experienced a couple of Category 5 hurricanes back to back recently. But, the rooms need some love, mattress replacements, and just general updates. The grounds were beautiful and I mentioned the beach area was superb. There are chairs that you can use. And, it’s fun watching the mongoose sprint around. The restaurant was very delicious and we had the pleasure of meeting Katrina who was sweetheart! She was extremely pleasant and welcoming. We got to see her both evenings that we dined and she was a delight. We had the curry chicken and shrimp ceviche and they both were scrumptious. Other than the updates needed, I would return to this resort again and definitely stay longer.
