Terrible experience

I paid €440 to upgrade and was put next to the bins where my my children were woken up constantly by noise. If not the bin lorry’s then the glass collection and then a lorry collecting wood.

Das Hotel hat meiner Frau und mir einen guten Gesamteindruck hinterlassen. Die Essqualität in den integrierten Restaurants könnte noch gesteigert werden. Dies im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in der Region und in der gleichen 4/5 Sternen Kategorie. Ansonsten alles prima; Sauberkeit, sehr gute Aufmerksamkeit der Mitarbeiter. Freundlich und motiviert. Nur weiter so. Kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic Stay

Excellent stay, we had a preferred club swim up pool room, it was fantastic. Staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed bed & breakfast which was also good with plenty of choice. Just a couple of niggles, there is no waiter service around the pools and the gates to get in and out of the hotel from the promenade were temperamental. Good location on the seafront, easy walking distance to either the Rubicon area or Playa Blanca centre. We will definitely return soon.

Engañoso por categoría e instalaciones

El servicio e instalaciones del hotel no se corresponden con la categoría y tarifas del hotel. El servicio de limpieza diaria es “justito”, básicamente solo hacen la cama. Las instalaciones son antiguas, solo ha habido una renovación de mobiliario, los ascensores son escasos y pequeños. El todo incluido no lo es tanto, entre horas no hay donde coger fruta, yogures o cosas básicas de merienda, si no perteneces al Preferred Club. Lo mismo sucede para acceder a determinadas piscinas y zonas del hotel, que antes de reservar no sabes que no puedes acceder sin pagar más. Y por último pero no menos importante, el horario de las actividades y zonas infantiles es muy limitado. Cuando no hace buen tiempo no hay opciones, y las instalaciones interiores del club infantil las cierran a las 16:30 y te desalojan sin ningún problema.

Decent stay

Good clean hotel with great service, still, didn’t feel any special about it being a 5* resort. Would have to stay at other places in Lanzarote to comment what’s better but Servatur Waikiki in Gran Canaria was at par with this one. Location is great though for walking trips to playa Flamingo or Papagayo. Also playa Dorada is just outside.

Great place.

Was upgraded to room 1257 which had amazing views great size, but had 2 single beds. We asked if it could be made up as a double they said no as they dont have bedding big enough. We could move but to a lower grade room, so decided to stay in the one we were given and pushed the 2 singles together. It wasn't ideal for us but for 5 days we lived with it. Hotel is in a great location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We went B&B breakfast selections was great. We did eat at the Asian restaurant one evening, but did not find it authentic. Phad Thai was more like chowmein. Tasted fine but what it should have tasted like and wrong type of noodles used.

The stay was fantastic. The only minor drawback was that we were unable to reserve a sunbed as they were fully booked, but 5/8 sunbeds did not get used at all on those days despite being marked as reserved.
