I dont normally leave reviews but we stayed at this Fairfield Inn and while some aspects were nice, it fell short of other Fairfield properties. The front desk staff was friendly, quickly securing us a two-bed room, which helped our group. The location is great, and the village with three hotels had clean, inviting grounds. We liked the option to use other hotels’ pools, though weather prevented this.
However, issues marred our stay. Two of three elevators had broken switch panels, making us wonder do they even work? Our room was damp and musty, feeling like a wet basement—not the fresh space we expected. Breakfast, meant to run until 9:30 AM, was a letdown. At 9:00 AM the first day, food wasn’t replenished; eggs were cold, forks were gone, and the milk machine was empty. Staff faced a language barrier and seemed unwilling to help. The next day at 8:45 AM, the same issues persisted, and they didnt want to replenish the waffle batter as it got closer to 9:30 suggesting this is standard here, unlike other Fairfield Inns. They made us feel like we were a bother to them.
It’s a shame, as we’ve enjoyed other locations, but this one’s maintenance, room quality, and breakfast service disappointed. We likely won’t return but hope management addresses these issues.
