We booked two rooms on our family road trip as we are a large family. We drove most of the day, late into the night, and arrived around 1am ready to get some sleep. However, we were told they only had one room for us. They tried to say the website never sent over 2 rooms, only one, but I logged on and saw we did. It felt like the Seinfeld episode, arguing about what a reservation was supposed to do! We ended up spending the next hour making phone calls until we found a hotel that was still open for check ins, another hour and a half away. We didn't get there until 4am and of course the rooms cost more. We only had a few hours to sleep before we had to check out and start our drive again, all because La Quinta does not know how to hold a reservation.
