There was a lady at the front desk who was quite unfriendly, she gave us one room that was already occupied, and she didn't even apologize when we went downstairs to find her a another room, which gave me a very bad impression of this hotel.

Cheer-ful Customer Service
It’s an old hotel, so rooms are small. Our room in NYC was bigger. But it was comfortable, the shower was hot, and bed was just right. We were there for a cheer competition and they allowed us a late checkout until like 3pm. *Make sure you text your valet before you head downstairs…they’ll make you text even in person.

Very dissatisfied
I was very disappointed in the room we stayed in. The room looked very old/plain, paint was chipping from the walls. The Bluetooth speaker didn't work at all. I felt that I was in a dungeon rather than an actual hotel room.

The rooms had out dated furniture and scratches over all the wood outdated furniture very old the 70s or 60s , I've been a engineer at the Hyatt and the Adams Mark . Sheradon hotels and this was the worst room I've ever seen or stayed in looks like something out of South Dallas not a five star hotel 😫

Two star hotel in downtown Dallas
The hotel is old, in need of some love and attention. The bathroom sink was chipped, the building just looked tired. Didn’t have the amenities you would expect at such a hotel. On top of that, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I forgot something in the room. I called and they said that I can come pick it up. When I returned they said that there is no housekeeping manager on the weekends to open the safe (how did it even get in the safe in the first place). They told me to file a report online. Three days later I received a notification that my ID was found. To get it back to me, they wanted $30. To ship an ID?? You can ship it for $0.73. And fine, add in $10 for a service charge. But $30?? And don’t even ask the price if you want it to be signed for. I will pick it up next time I’m in Dallas hopefully without the excuse there isn’t someone to open the safe.

The staff at the front desk and the door was probably the best part of our stay, always happy and helpful. The elevators were the worst part. This is an older hotel with slow elevators and many floors. It was very frustrating waiting for elevators. The room was small, but decent. The location was perfect for what we needed. Having The Exchange across the street for a quick meal was a plus.

Nice stay, old charm, great walkability to food…
I stayed here two nights and after reading a few reviews about how noisy the street was, I was concerned. I was able to get some good rest both nights. This hotel has old charm, not the modern sleek hotels that are newer but a regal sense in certain places and just feels cozy. Sure the paint was coming off the window panes and there were a few cobwebs in the corners where curtains usually cover but overall, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean, they offered a coffee pot and complimentary water bottles. The only thing they didn’t have was the small square towels I usually get as wash rags. Other than that, it’s in a prime location. I’m not a breakfast person so I didn’t care about that, but they did have a great and cozy coffee shop just outside the front door. There was a food hall just across the street and many places to eat/shop within walking distance. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I even used the gym. It was nothing spectacular, and a little warm for me but it did the job.
