I was drawn to this hotel by its location, right by the bridge, but everything else left much to be desired. First, finding the entrance was a challenge—it’s tucked away inside a restaurant and not shown in any of the online photos or directions.
My room on the second floor looked nothing like the pictures advertised. The kettle was filthy, the windows were tiny, and there was virtually no ventilation. I’m not even allergic, yet I suffered a terrible respiratory attack and could barely sleep. Although the staff were polite when we finally caught their attention, most of the time they were smoking outside at the restaurant tables and hard to flag down.
The breakfast spread was generous in quantity, but most items were unpalatable—overly salty olives and dried-out tomatoes, for example. I preferred to grab breakfast elsewhere than endure those offerings.
All in all, I wouldn’t consider staying here again. The only real advantage is the location; everything else falls far short.
