Good location
Perfect location in South beach - right across from the beach and close to many great restaurants. It is an older boutique hotel but they are renovating it so our room felt newer. The service at the front desk was excellent and the staff was willing to accommodate some special requests that I had with no issues. They knew who I was in the 3 days that I was there. The entrance is a bit unique since you enter at the first floor and then take the elevator to the lobby on the 2nd floor.

Stay elsewhere - too much $ for the hassles
No one to answer the phone, the woman who helped me eventually was very nice... but - cable issues, I waited for the valet for like 15 minutes and there's no other parking. The lot they brought me to was not at all secure. The fire alarm went off in the building at 5:15am, and no one was at the desk to assist. I called the main office to see if they could locate the front desk person but they said they could not. We had to wait out on the street for the firemen to show up and let us back in.

A very pleasant surprise!
Pleasant surprise!! I thought i had booked the Hilton Bentley(which is 3 blocks south of this Bentley. I wondered why the Hilton.com price was 3 times as much as the Hotel.com. Not the s ame hotel. It was a great stay with William and his staff. Yes they are going theu some construction but that didnt matter. Fro. The outstanding room with balcony to the rooftop pool and deck that overlook the park/beach. It eas a wonder 3 nights. This hotel is at the beginning of Ocean Drive and 5th, so none of the noise. We d rec this hotel to our friends.

Third world accommodation with poor management...
Air conditioner did not work. I was told I didn’t need an air conditioner and denied any accommodation in return for having to spend the night in a warm and stuffy room with GFI units that kept going off making it difficult to charge our phones. Also… Hotels.com did not advertise that the hotel was in the process of a major reconstruction. I was told that a manager would contact me re an accommodation and so far that has not happened. I paid over $400 for this room and consider Hotels.com responsible for a completely misleading review. I would appreciate any help that Hotels.com could offer re getting an accommodation.

Modernist hotel with fabulous views
We stayed at the Bentley for a pre-Christmas family holiday. Whilst the weather was at bit hit and miss, the hotel was lovely. We had a penthouse room overlooking the sea and I highly recommended it. We also had a standard room. This was good value but lost the lovely views. For a heritage hotel, it was a pleasant surprise that the room was large and very modern. The terrace was enormous with fabulous sea views. The rooftop pool area is also very spacious with great views. The hotel is well located at the start of the South Beach heritage area with a huge selection of restaurants on its doorstep. Probably the nicest section of gardens and beach is directly in front of the hotel. The free tram service (The Trolley) goes up Washington from near by if you don’t want to walk to Lincoln Mall etc. One tip, for a day trip, is to hire a car from Sixt on 5th. We rented one for an Everglades trip. Their car park is two blocks behind the hotel, so you can pick up early and drop back late for about $100 all in. The staff were lovely and there are also a few freebies (breakfast snacks, coffee, sparkling wine) in reception at various times during the day. The ground floor is being refurbished with a new restaurant/bar opening in the New Year This is a heritage hotel. If you like that quirky vibe, in a fabulous location, but with modern rooms and nice staff it’s worth looking at it. .
