O hotel possui uma estrutura muito grande, com muitas e excelentes opções de alimentação e bebida. O café da manhã é excelente e todos os 3 restaurantes a la carte são muito bons. O atendimento é muito bom, principalmente no café da manhã. Os quartos standard são muito pequenos e afastados e alguns com acesso muito ruim (escadas apenas) - a grande maioria não tem janela, somente pequenas persianas então caso possa optar por upgrade ou outro tipo de quarto terá uma melhor acomodação. O atendimento no geral é muito bom, a destacar o CAFÉ MEXICO onde o atendimento é muito ágil e simpático, mas tivemos uma experiência ruim em relação a Recepção com atendente Ricardo onde relatamos um vazamento no banheiro e o mesmo se mostrou sem interesse em ajudar, praticamente ignorando nosso problema, só tivemos uma solução temporária através da atendente Alma que reforçou junto a manutenção uma solução.

This the first time Ive ever stayed at an all-inclusive. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, but the shower was tiny. The shampoo/conditioner combo was terrible. The room I was in had chairs outside the room. This was really nice, but my view was the hotel across the street. The pools were great, but the beach area was unimpressive.

Mooie locatie, vriendelijke bediening, goede kwaliteit van het eten en drankjes. Alleen jammer dat het strand aan het hotel zelf erg klein en minder goed gelegen is. Je kan wel naar het strand bij de nabijgelegen hotels die wel mooie stranden hebben, maar dan kan je natuurlijk niet genieten van de barservice.

Excellent service and food. Eroded beach.

Hotel room was very spacious with a big bathroom and lots of storage in the closet. There is a safe. Every staff member was friendly. Service was exceptional at the pool, breakfast buffet and Italian restaurant. (We ate offsite other meals). The food was probably the best we’ve had at any AI resort and we’ve been to probably 100. The main pool was nice but deep. (5 feet or so) The pool deck gets extremely hot and the steps getting out of pool (the hand rails) are boiling even early morning. I’d recommend getting covers for them like we have in our pool in Florida. There was no “towel game” here - we could get pool seats any time of day. Pool entertainment wasn’t anything special and the ‘crazy games’ , tossing a football, not crazy at all. Foam party was great. Nightly entertainment varied. It seemed ok but we usually went out. The beach was pretty much non-existent except for a small patch but even there you’d need to wade thru seaweed to get into the water. This is not the hotel’s fault but I’m mentioning it because if you want a beach vacation you won’t get it here. We knew that coming in but for the price and close proximity to Avenida Quinta we were fine with it. Location is great. Plenty of shops, rests and bars right out the door but the food at hotel is great so you definitely don’t need to leave for good food. You can come to this hotel, eat and drink and be entertained all day at the pool and never leave the resort. Great value for the money. Nicest staff.

Great place

Just left Alltra. What a beautiful hotel. I loved all of the architecture and the grounds are very clean. We upgraded to an ocean view with a nice big balcony. The room is really pretty and very clean. The bathroom was very nice and a great shower. Hot and lots of pressure. The foam party was so much fun. The pool was the cleanest pool I’ve ever seen at an all inclusive resort. The service at all restaurants/bars/pool was excellent. The location is perfect. 2 blocks off 5th Avenue. The small beach was nice and cute bar on the beach. We had to search for it at first but once we found it, it was great. Roof top pool also. We didn’t get in. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is perfect. My only complaint was the guacamole was made with oil. Who puts oil in guacamole?? Apparently people do that in Playa at a few restaurants. We just asked for no oil. Enjoy Alltra

We love Whyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen. All staff were so kind and helpfull. Food was really good, all three restaurant were delicious, we love "zarape: the mexican one.

The pool facilities were excellent and the waiters and staff were great. Only disappointed with the restaurants, especially Zappe the Mexican restaurant, the food was very bland and mediocre. Also the other restaurants were closed a lot

This resort needs better food options and an easier way to make dinner reservations. The pool needs to be cleaned - there is a green film that lined the entire pool which was disgusting and there were tons of bugs (bees/flies) which obviously meant that the pool is not being adequately cleaned. Evening entertainment was lacking at this resort and many guests that I spoke to also were not happy that there was nothing to do after 8-9pm. The “DJ” that was there one evening was not even a DJ, he appeared to be waitstaff just playing music and the music was all over the place - he would go from playing a Whitney Houston song to then playing a reggaeton song then to playing a country song. Just horrible!

We have stayed here several times. We love the location and the smaller size of the resort. Food is good for the most part. The Italian restaurant is our favorite. Their coffee bar taste like Starbucks and all the staff is very nice. We didn’t like the new $10 room service fee or the no alcohol until 11am.

Our stay was amazing. The staff is so kind and attentive. They accommodated our group of 13 at dinner and breakfast regularly. They were very strict with who was allowed on property. We always felt safe. It was also a great location and easy to walk to 5th Ave shopping.

The food is amazing with great varieties. The stakehouse not so much but everything was super. The pool water was too warm for my taste. The staff are super helpful and friendly.
