We had three rooms and in one of the rooms, some disgusting, crusty brown stuff was splashed all over the bowl of the sink. It was late and we were too tired to change rooms. The unconcerned desk clerk handed us a wad of dry paper towels and went back to socializing with the male employee(?) who was hanging over the counter. She never once said she was sorry about this. I am requesting a partial refund.

Staff was very nice, and the reason I gave only two stars for “ Condition” was that they are in the process of upgrading the hotel, and components are scattered all over the property and incomplete. As opposed to isolating a job, roping it off and finishing it. It was just kind of a cluster all over. Our room was newly finished, which was nice. However, the lights didn’t work on one side of the bed. I had called to notify the front desk of this and we were going to have to switch rooms, but then I pulled out the nightstand and discovered the brand new cords hanging down but not plugged in the back of the nightstand, which had a brand new power strip attached to it. The cords in the power strip were concealed very nicely but just not plugged in.

It would have been nice to tell me that the hotel WAS UNDER A MASSIVE RENOVATION. Thanks for that. NOT!!! And still the same high prices.. And instead of vending machines we got old about to be thrown out lamps. Very very disappointed

Unhappy

The place was a mess, we were not informed it was being remodeled. Not enough parking because of the remodeling. Pool area was unsanitary, for the three days we were there, there were floss picks all over the pool area. The electricity was messed up when you turned the hair dryer or the microwave on the lights flickered. There was no security lock on the door and no emergency instructions on the back of the door. The curtains did not fit the windows correctly and the outside lights shined thru. Loud exhaust from cars in the parking lot while people smoked, they sat outside their cars with it running had to have someone ask them to shut the car off. It was unnecessary.
