under renovation, so there was some workers. The sinks in the bathroom were slow for some reason they said, and when they redid the window, curtain it made it so you couldn’t close to blackout the sun light. room380

Disappointing

The stay was ok. The hotel was under construction so it was a little messy and also confusing. We could not check in when we got there, as the card machine was not working so we had to come back a couple hours later. We were given no directions on our check in, so had to go back to the front desk to ask where to elevators were. And then kind of had to navigate where we were going after we got off elevators on our own, as again, no directions were given. Upon returning home, I discovered I had left a favourite item of clothing behind, which also had sentimental value. I emailed the hotel with no response. So I emailed them again 4 days later, and told them I would get a hold of head office if they did not respond. They finally emailed me back and told me they did not have my item of clothing. It mystery has vanished into thin air. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know and will steer away anyone that is thinking of going there. It was disappointing.

It was enjoyable, I would stay again

I really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. They beds were a little stiff for me. The hotel was being renovated while we stayed there so things felt all over the place. My mother and her sister enjoyed the breakfast, however I was busy running around and did not get a chance. My biggest issue was how cold the room was. It was set to 65 and it was freezing in there. I understand having a cool room for guest but that is just too cold. We literally had to put on the heat to go to bed and had to put on long sleeve clothes till it warmed up in there.

Hotel was not very clean. Our room had no dead bolt on the door or any signs as to where to go in case of emergency. No hair dryer in the room and no noise ordinance so it was very loud at night with people talking loud and banging of doors in the hallway. Lady at desk was not friendly. The breakfast selection was horrible.

Room was great, very clean n spacious. Hotel is currently under construction so some areas on first floor are rather filthy. However there must of been kids in room above me, lots of running around and noisy. I dont understand why they would put kids on the 3rd floor.

Great value. Conviently located

Overall our stay was excellent. The hotel was clean even through the renovation process. The breakfast could have been better. The hotel was close to Frakenmuth, The outlet mall at Birch Run and next door to a Meijer. That was a plus.
