The service was uneven. They knew we needed a roll-away bed for our child, but though we arrived after 7 pm, it hadn't been put in our room. which was not a big deal as we notified them of this on the way down to go out for dinner. When we returned it was nicely installed. In the morning, while showering I discovered the shampoo dispenser was empty. There were also only towels set out for two occupants and not three. So no shampoo and a call to housekeeping to get a third set of towels. But again, not tragic and they delivered the towels in less than 10 minutes. After breakfast I let the front desk know about the shampoo dispenser. Fast-forward to the next morning and you guessed it, still no shampoo. And the desk lamp was broken, but we were on our way out, so what was the point of saying anything at all.
Overall it was a fine hotel, with albeit tired-looking rooms. And the breakfast was great as was the vibe at the bar. But the holes in the service were frustrating and so easily remedied.
