Would not stay here again

Check in to check out was horrendous. We live literally 99miles from the hotel. The hotel has a policy that you have to pay a $200 cash deposit if you don't live at least 100miles away and we couldn't round that up 1 mile! This policy was not advertised until you get to the front desk so luckily we had the cash on us. When i went to get it back, the 1st person wrote the wrong room number on my hand written reciept so that was a process to get my money back. To get into the pool you had to ho to the front desk and get them to unlock the gate. Is it not safe or what would be the reasoning for this? The room only had 2 towels and 2 wash cloths and we had 4 people staying. Went to the front desk to ask for our other 2 and they acted like we were trying to pull one over on them and finally they went and got them. The room and the linens smelt like cigarette smoke. The shower is the worst shower i have ever taken. Not sure if it was the shower head or water pressure itself, but they offered that was the best it got. Great prices, but there was definitely a reason for that.

We book a non smoke rooom but the room we got has an over whelming smoke smell its very terrible. The shower head in the bathroom will almost fall off , its not secured at all , its very difficult to take shower. No apology from the front staff instead he give a bunch of excuses.

Couldn't pay me to stay here

When arrived, they had the unload awning blocked with cones, while it was raining. There was no visible work done or cleaning (in the rain?). The clerk spoke very broken English, which is fine, when you're not dealing with front facing customers. The lobby has a potpourri scent on level 10, almost too strong to handle. After getting checked in, I go to my car in the rain with a luggage cart, get back to hotel, ask where the elevator was, to be told there wasn't one. I asked to be switched to a bottom floor due to being alone with roughly 6 bags to bring in (for work), and was met with a very disgruntled resistance. I'm not the nicest with confrontation, so I said never mind. Once I got to my room, which smelled of smoke, they had it set to a 78* which I went to turn down the ac...only to discover the buttons are so damaged you have to finagle very hard to work. Told the desk clerk, rebelled switching rooms again, and he'll send maintence. 20 mins goes by, I have to back down again due to no one showing up. No issues during the stay as I wasn't in the room much outside of having 4 tv channels that barely worked, and no outlets for charges anywhere near the bed. The room phone had no cable to call the desk if needed. Bathroom was clean lol. Finally, on check out, my key cards stopped working at 10:50am (check out 11), and went to desk (new clerk), who pretty much grilled me with attitude on WHY the cards stopped working, almost as if I did something to them.

I went to the hotel they did not have any wheelchair accessible rooms I went to my room and it smelled like smoke and then asked if I could change rooms they said there were no rooms available that we could get into and yet it was not true there wasn't ramp to the second floor with rooms we could have gone into but they did not offer that.

Spoil the fun at pool

The only issues I had was I had to have them come fix the lock on the door and it was not even 8pm and the stuff came and told us at the pool to stop being loud and there was like r children and 5 adults and we was not even that loud. It got louder later in the evening and nobody came out. If you don't want people to have fun and have nosie don't have a pool open.

Fine stay

It was fine. The room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Pretty flat pillows but I don’t think that really mattered to me. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut at all, it was like it was 1/2 inch too wide, but it was my daughter and I, so, I wasn’t too huffed. Pool right outside our door. Inside the building (where the pool is) was so hot I wanted to get in the water, but the water was so cold I stayed sweating on a seat. Really thin walls but we weren’t there to sit around the hotel room anyways. Most confusing part was why they would ask you to early check-in, upload your ID, and add a card if they were just going to make you give them your ID to scan and card to run AGAIN as soon as you go inside to get keys: I’ll just not pre-check in. Overall, fine stay.

Nice staff, terrible accommodations

The staff was very friendly, however, this hotel is in major need of upgrades. The AC in our initial room did not work. We were moved to a new room when it was determined they couldn’t fix it and the new room had roaches. We ended up going home a night early.

Good for price

For the price, the room was good. Some of the ceiling tiles need to be replaced, and there were small gaps around the door leading outdoors. I worried a little bit abut bugs getting in, but didnt see any. The pool water seemed a little cloudy. But overall, it wasnt a bad place to stay. The bed and shower were very nice.
