As a Gold Member, I believe it's the worst ever!
As a Hotels.com's valued Gold Member, I travel around the world, and I booked over 150 nights in a year. I've never had such terrible experience with any hotel in the world, not to mention luxury hotels. This hotel is the worst ever. One of the cleaning staff, a tall and strong guy, opened my door by using his card while I was taking a shower. I came out wearing my towel and I was terrified. I asked him why he could come in to the room when a hotel guest was still in the room. He didn't apologize to me, but talked a lot in a language that I don't know, perhaps Portugalese or Romanian. I told him to leave. This is not the worst part yet. In about 2 hours later, while I was enjoying the food that I ordered from room services, this same guy opened the door in my room AGAIN without even knocking by his card again. I was so shocked what kind of "luxury" room that was. I spent over 220 euro for one night, but I didn't enjoy any penny of my spending. I got scared, terrified and horrified. I told him to leave immediately, and I called the receptionist. However, the receptionist didn't do anything to resolve the situation, and didn't reimburse me anything to apologize. This hotel claimed to be a luxury hotel with extremely overcharging price. It terriblly sucks. As a Hotels.com's Gold Member, I strongly suggest Hotels.com to downgrade its rating to one star.

SAXE EIFFEL整體設計延續鉄塔的意象，雖然不算豪華，但很有質感。尤其位於單純的巷子內，方便而不喧鬧，非常寧靜。 前檯人員親切耐心，就算面對我癟腳的英語，也會仔細說明。早餐選擇雖然不多，但很精緻、服務人員慇勤有禮，且令人感覺很自在，就像回到自己的家。 旅館提供的自行車服務，陪我輕鬆逛遍巴黎市區，深入大街小巷，想像自己也過著巴黎人的生活.... 很希望與所有好朋友分享這美好的旅館經驗。

Nice hotel
I wanted to look for a hotel which is not under any international management groups. This one is very nice; 25-min walk to Tour Eiffel along Av. de Suffren and 8-min walk to the nearest metro station SEGUR.

I stayed at Hotel Villa Saxe Eiffel for 2 days, overall it is good to stay as the area is cozy and just about 10 mins walk to subway station. However, it is a bit far from Eiffel Tower which takes around 30 mins walk to there.

Convenient and Professional
At first, I chose this hotel due to safety, but it ended up really well! The hotel was nice and people there were professional and helpful. We were concerning the distance from the hotel to train stations. However, it was actually not too bad. Moreover, there were many lines in this area, which made easier to travel in Paris. Overall, it is a great hotel. I will definitely book it again next time.

Check in went smooth. The staff was nice and courteous and understood and spoke English well. The front is staffed 24 hours. The standard room and bathroom was small but I heard to be typical of the area. We were on the second floor at the end of the hall near the coffee lounge which was nice since I easily can get by coffee. They have a great coffee machine that gave really good espresso drinks. Only thing I wish they had were a fridge, microwave, and an iron. The location was nice and quiet, and away from busy tourist location but an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and metro. If I stayed here again I would look to get a larger room but nice stay overall.

Falhou no atendimento
Essa foi a quinta vez que me hospedei nesse hotel mas tive surpresa desagradável. Horário do café da manhã começa 7:00h. Ao chegar no salão do café da manhã nesse horário as portas estavam fechadas. Por volta de 7:05 desci pra recepção pra comunicar o fato e avisar que no dia seguinte precisaria tomar café da manhã às 7:00h pois tinha táxi marcado para o aeroporto às 7:30h. O rapaz que me atendeu não foi compreensivo e perguntou se eu queria uma “doggy bag” para levar no dia seguinte. Respondi que não, que queria tomar café da manhã no horário disponibilizado pelo hotel. Falei ainda que o fato do café da manhã não estar disponível no horário era problema dele por ser representante do hotel e não meu, hóspede. Ele não gostou e quis encrespar comigo dizendo que estava sendo desrespeitosa. Nessa altura saiu uma senhora e disse que o café seria servido no horário. Agradeci e me retirei. No dia seguinte não houve problemas. Nunca tinha tido problemas nesse hotel. Enzo me atendeu super bem. Mas depois dessa vou procurar outro lugar

Overall a good stay. There was construction outside the hotel that was a bit noisy throughout the day (not at night) it also made it difficult for any taxi to drive up to the hotel. Not the hotel's fault. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.
