Our 2 night stay at this hotel was comfortable & relaxing. The staff were friendly & courteous, made us feel welcomed & at home. Our room was spacious & clean. The pool area over-looking the ocean was fabulous. The promenade is just in front of the hotel & close walking distance to the ferry, beach, restaurants & bars.

Dream Team Staff and Perfectly Located Hotel

This hotel is beautiful and the price is right. It’s perfectly situated on the Malecon and in close walking distance to the beach, the Super Aqui(super market) and all the downtown restaurants and bars. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel has a great vibe. The staff are super friendly and the Managers are all incredibly kind and so very helpful. Abigail, the General Manager, is wonderful and approachable and goes above and beyond in everything she does and she never misses a beat. Alex, the Booking Manager, is also absolutely wonderful and so friendly and approachable and really goes above and beyond to ensure the guests are having a wonderful stay. Allen, the late afternoon/evening Manager is also awesome and very helpful and had so many suggestions and recommendations. These three employees are all very focused on guest satisfaction and that is reflected in everything they do. This dream team made my stay so much more enjoyable due to their care, concern and attention to detail and all three of these exceptional employees deserve raises and promotions because of their hard work and dedication to their jobs. I’ve stayed here several times and these incredible staff members are the reason I decided to re-book. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with the perfect location and incredible staff, than look no further!

Some quirks but good value

Good location by the sea in quieter area. Other Pros: clean place, very friendly staff Cons: VERY loud music out front - we love loud music but this was next level. Thankfully our room was around the side. No way to talk out front where pool is. They clean rooms at 4:00 which we found odd. Timing was poor as we would be back by then getting ready for supper. Big balcony but no furniture out there. Otherwise good value for the money.

Weak showers

We had to change rooms twice due to ac not cooling and lack of water from shower. Bed was extremely firm and showers have very very light pressure. It takes at least 5 minutes to get hot water then it fluctuates. Other than that it's very clean and in a great location. Beautiful ocean view!

Best Located Hotel on Isla

I stayed at this hotel in 2020 under different ownership and loved it then. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay, even more so than I did five years ago. The staff were all amazing! The hotel manager(s) were beyond helpful and understanding and were always ready to answer questions or lend a hand no matter the inquiry. The bar and restaurant staff, the front desk staff and the house keeping staff were super friendly and were all very attentive and they were also all so very friendly. I love the location of this hotel and it’s in close proximity to everything you may like to access with walking distances to bars, restaurants, the beach and the super market. I prefer staying on this side of the downtown because when you look out over the ocean, you aren’t looking at Cancun. You’re able to stare out into the beautiful turquoise waters and not be distracted by the over development on the main land. Having read some of the limited reviews that have been posted about the Mint since opening, I think it’s important to comment on the repeated comments regarding the fact that there are no blanket on the beds. While this is true, I would suggest turning the air conditioning down or simply requesting a second sheet. Nothing more is needed and it’s important to remember that the temperatures in Mexico are blazing hot to begin with. This hotel exceeds all expectations, it’s absolutely wonderful on every level and I loved everything about it. The staff all deserve raises!

Hôtel récent. Magnifique. Nous sommes un couple et avons loué la chambre avec lit King site. Super confortable 😍 Une télévision Géante et vue partielle sur la mer. La salle de bain très grande, eau chaude. Petit café à disposition dans ma chambre et petit frigo. Le personnel est très accueillant et à l’écoute. Calme et super bien situé. Je recommande à 100%

Primera vez que nos hospedamos, la ubicación nos gustó mucho, súper tranquilo, accesible a pie desde el ferry, la atención muy bien, sin embargo, hay algunos aspectos que mejorar, no hay servicio a la habitación, de hecho el restaurante es una concesión, no hay teléfono en la habitación para comunicarte con recepción, no habían edredones solo sábanas, no me proporcionaron la red wifi y la señal era mala, pero si nos volveríamos a hospedar

Prime Location

We’ve been visiting Isla Mujeres since 2018 staying at different places. This is the first time hearing about The Mint and absolutely loved our stay. The staff is courteous and on top of everything. The weight staff at the barn restaurant or top-notch. The pool and dipping pool is very relaxing and a great place to sit to watch the sunrise! It is walking distance from everything downtown Isla. The rooms are very spacious and the balconies are very large. The bathroom is very large a nice big walk-in shower. The ambience of this resort is amazing. They work hard to make sure we enjoyed our time, which we did! We will definitely be back!

Hotel upgrade in process.

Overall the experience was favorable. Of our two rooms, one did not have hot water for two days despite the hotel’s efforts to fix it. The hotel upgraded us to nicer rooms which did have hot water, for which we were thankful.

This property is a great location! Walking distance to downtown and beaches! The rooms are affordable spacious and clean. Property needs some updates. Elevator doesn’t work! Nice balconies with ocean view but no furniture to sit out there and enjoy.
