Always my stop

This is always my stopping point when I need a rest around St. Louis. I’ve stayed here several times. Love the convenient location. Love having the Wallys across the street. Always clean, comfortable, and friendly.

Not best Area

I should have read the reviews before booking, was not in the best area. Building was old and smelled like smoke. Bathroom clean but bathtub faucet would not turn off. Return air vents covered in dirt and dust. Mattress too soft.

Don't Say Here!

I will never stay here again! This place has gone down hill since my last stay here. it took 8 hours for A/C to drop 5 degrees to a comfortable temperature. The maintenance man is a joke the filter grill is covered with dirt (not cleaned for a while) filter 75% plugged with dirt. didn't turn on light to even toe see or even take filter out to visually inspect. stains on bedding, (should have been thrown away) had them replaced. Unfortunately, this place has turned into an extended stay motel. New management has gotten lax on important customer issues.

Overall price and beds good, cleanliness not

Rooms need attention. Recommend a dehumidifier in rooms as they are DAMP! Mold on ceiling in bathrooms, dust everywhere, floors not vacuumed, carts left in the middle of the hall, dirty laundry or trash left for whole days.

Check in took over 30 min. “System down” ???? I think the rooms were not ready. Asked for a king, only full bed available. Tv did not work, they came and fixed and then could only play one channel. Took a shower with blasts of cold water. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Vacation travel

The check in person was very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit dirty (dusty furniture and floors). The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was average at best and the host was late putting it out. We had to wait to get items, and even then the variety was pretty slim. She also did not seem happy or apologetic. Was an easy on/off from the interstate, and within walking distance of Cracker Barrel and other places. Gas station near by too.

Hotel needs overhaul

Room had not been cleaned. Took over an hour for the front desk reception to get the room cleaned. Breakfast area was dirty (yogurt was smeared over other yogurt containers and no one was cleaning it up. Trash sitting on counter next to coffee also meant area had not been cleaned. Coffee machine did not work. Questionable food sanitary status (red liquid on top of lid of eggs. We left without eating breakfast due to the conditions.

Needs a Facelift

Walls were a bit thin so I was kept awake with voices talking in the hallway into after midnight. Carpets were stained in the hallway and our room. Beds were comfy. Breakfast area was kept clean. Our tub shower faucet was leaking water continuously.

Not Impressed

The ratings I saw online unfortunately didn’t match our experience. The beds were comfortable but the room had a lot of problems. Most outlets didn’t work including the one next to sink where most people set their hair, the TV only had 1 channel working, the bathtub was running (not dripping) water the entire first night. Less than desirable considering it is a Wyndham property.

Higher hopes

I was really, really hoping for a better stay. The front staff was very nice but I was so disappointed when I got up to the room. First of all, I had requested a first floor and was told there were no king rooms.Available on the first floor so I said I will be happy to take the queen. No I got the 3rd floor which thank God. There was an elevator it's faster. I immediately walked into the room and a good tell the person before me had been smoking. I thought it was a non smoking hotel, except for you know, say outdoors. The tub was leaking water from the spout.I couldn't turn it off. I pulled down the sheet and found a stain on the sheet. So I just moved to the other side of the bed, got comfortable to watch TV. To my amazement, the TV sucked, it wouldn't work correctly. The picture was horrible.I couldn't change the channels. There was so tired I finally just gave up and watched b.B c america. I don't think I'll be staying there again.
