I stayed at the Boise Inn last weekend and noticed what looked like bug bites on Sunday. Yesterday my doctor diagnosed the bites as scabies. I contacted the hotel, they seemed uninterested after initially refuting my experience. The employee that spoke with me on the phone said I should contact the owner, then refused to give me the owner’s name, then hung up on me. This is a public health concern and I’m not sure who to report it to. I would also like a refund to help cover medical expenses.

The place stinks of cigarette smoke from the moment you walk.toward the front door. Our non-smoking room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The area did not feel safe.

Worst hotel experience
Easily the worst hotel experience my family has had in our many roadtrips. The site was old, broken down, and neglected. There were stacks of discarded furniture and random machines in the hallways. Our Hotels.com price was $111 but they charged us $40 more for having 2 children. No shampoo or conditioner in the room and they refused to give us any so we had to drive to a grocery store. At first we thought we were in a slummy part of town but then we realized that the town was great, our hotel was the slum. Would never go back, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Horrible smoke smell throughout the building; room poorly vacuumed, worn out furniture, too few pillows and staff unwilling to accommodate. Worn out, frayed towels, insufficient TP.
