The apartment is large, enough space for two adult and 3 teenagers it’s in a nice quiet location with the shops in walking distance,it’s one of the nicest apartments that we stayed in on our vacation in Europe, our flight was cancelled due to weather and needed a extra night and the management couldn’t of been any more helpful very quick to respond for any of our needs I would of given a lot more star if I was allowed thanks for a very enjoyable stay

Our group of four enjoyed our stay at the Sif Apartments. The building looks brand new. It's situated just about a mile from most of the crowded spots of Reykjavik. We had a rental car so getting around was no problem. The building and our rooms were overall very quiet, but there was an unexplained fire alarm one night that went on for about 10 minutes. Just as I got all the way to the entrance from my 6th-floor room, it stopped. One thing that was tricky was the parking garage. Finding the entrance was easy, however, we had two stressful situations regarding the garage. First, it is an absolutely humongous garage that is laid out in a very confusing way. It connects to many different buildings including offices and restaurants, so it's very challenging to navigate yourself to the Sif Apt building. Plus, you have to actually enter the building from the outside main entrance since the front door code does not work on the doors in the garage. On top of that, you have to then remember the maze to find your car when you want to go somewhere. You might want to give yourself at least an extra 5 minutes to find it...no joke. Second, make sure you know how you're going to pay. You can do it via the Parka app or at one of the kiosks in the garage. Our first kiosk apparently wasn't working properly but it took us several tries before we realized that. Luckily, we found a different kiosk and it worked just fine. The Parka app is much more convenient and trouble-free.

Great option for travelling with teens
Great option for travelling with teens, we had 2 large bedrooms so everyone could spread out, much better than a hotel setup! Accommodation was modern, immaculate, shower was fantastic, beds super comfy, kitchen had all amenities needed. Location is also great, right next to bus stop 12 where loads of tours pick up from. 5 mins walk to seafront. Highly recommend SIF Apartments, literally ticked all our boxes and was very reasonably priced too!

We had an excellent 4 days here. The location is perfect - easy walk to center of town and harbor. Right next to bus stop 12 for tours. We found parking on the street every day. Very, very comfortable beds. We had a north facing apartment on the 7th floor - could see aurora right from our windows. Highly recommend this place.

Had to make several phone calls to get the codes into the apartment. Last communication was I will get an email, instructions will be emailed but didn’t receive any. Payment was made but didn’t give instructions thru email that they need documents before releasing the codes until I called. The place is safe and close to downtown, parking is limited but also did not get helpful tips.

Grocery option is a 10 minute walk (Bonus is the name) or if you have a Costco membership buy your bulk there since there is a significant price difference.
