Simple cozy stay

Checking was a breeze and the staff was very polite and helped us in and made finding out where to go very easy. Gave us all the directions right up front. It’s a simple place with no crazy frills. We didn’t really use the kitchenette so can’t comment on that. Pool was clean. AC units would have been a bit more powerful and the filter needed cleaning. But I do understand in the heat and humidity there that’s very difficult.

Great stay in the Keys!

Our stay at Colors on White Street was great! There was a dedicated parking spot for us, the unit was clean and had all the basic amenities you would need for a stay in Key West. It's a bit of a walk to Duval Street from this unit, and you have to check in at their main location on Duval Street, but the staff's instructions were thorough and clear about this. Just call ahead if you are unsure, Denise and their other staff were incredibly kind and answered all of our questions.

Staff was friendly, but room was in poor shape. Floors were dirty, door to bedroom stuck and if you closed them, took forever to open up. Bathroom door hard to open. Appliances were old and dirty. Faucet in tub area was broken! Nice location, but I spent over $700 for this room, I shouldn’t have to ask for it to be cleaned.

Ich hatte ein Apartment für zwei erwachsene und ein 15 Jährigen gebucht. Wir bekamen ein Doppelzimmer wo wir zu dritt in einem Bett schlafen sollten? Eine Mitreisende im Büro von der Unterkunft hatte das gleiche Problem,ihr hat man ein zustellbett zugesagt und von uns wollten sie 40 Dollar zusätzlich pro Nacht haben. Als wir sie darauf hinweisen gab sie uns eine Luft Matratze umsonst?? Die Unterkunft roh nach klor Putzmittel,ich bekam Husten Attacke davon und haben die ganze Zeit Tür aufgelassen. In der Küche was sehr dreckig war,waren kaum Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Es waren zwei Tassen und Plastikbecher. Die Klimaanlage draußen hatte ständig getropft,es hat sich eine riesengroße Wasser Fläche gebildet,obendrein was sie so laut das man sie nachts ausschalten müsste. Eine Unterkunft die man niemandem empfehlen kann.

Very frustrating check in process. No where that I could find in my Expedia reservation nor in the email from colors on white could I find the location of the check in. After digging through the property details I finally found it in the small print. This should be front and center. I have no issue with the different location just the unknown. Also we got to the actual location of colors on white in the dark we found no reference to colors on white nor did we realize key west properties sign was meant for us.

Pratique pour un court séjour

Nous avons passé une nuit à l'hôtel Colors on White, la chambre avec un coin Kitchenette et la salle de Bains était idéal pour notre passage à Keywest. Une place de stationnement était disponible et c'était pratique. L'emplacement permet de se promener à pied dans Keywest et c'est appréciable. L'enregistrement à une autre adresse n'est vraiment pas des plus facile après de longues heures de route. Le prix reste quand même très élevé à notre goût.

Could be better for the cost

Place served its purpose for our one night stay but for the cost I was expecting better accommodations. Doors didn’t shut completely, could see visible light through all exterior doors. Coconut King room has its own private balcony overlooking White street which is super nice but the rest of the place left a lot to be desired. Remote was super sticky like the plastic had started peeling from sun/heat exposure and took five minutes for TV to become functional. Toilet also required tinkering otherwise it would fill the tank every couple minutes. Mini fridge also had a couple spills that weren’t cleaned especially the freezer looked like mold.

The pool is very nice and warm. The room and terrace are also very pleasant. On the other hand, to check in you have to go into town and you can't park. We didn't know that.We searched for the office for a long time before finding an explanatory sign. Finally, there was the garbage collection, I think, very quiet and really very noisy. It's a shame because otherwise the neighborhood is very quiet. The stay was still very pleasant.
