DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY. They have hidden fees not listed and once you book trip that’s non refundable you show up and they then BAMMMMMM tell you you owe more. AC hardly works and drips water all over floor. Nasty and not worth your money. Hotels.com should have made this right considering they advertise for this bait and switch but they don’t so don’t recommend either.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed, worst service ever.

My friend and I had an early check in and got a room with a broken tv, no comforters, no towels, among so many other issues. They gave us a new room but later that morning at 2am we woke to banging on the door. It was another few guests who they gave the room we were in to and didn’t check us out of the previous room that they gave the current one for. I went to the office and was told it was an accident. It scared the crap out of us and they walked into the room with us dead asleep. That would be scary for anyone at 2am when you’re dead asleep. Friend has ptsd and was scared and crying through it all. I went back to my room only to be locked out since they gave the access to the other key card and had to go back a 2nd time to the office at 2am just to get back into my own hotel room I got locked out of. There’s stains on the bedding, mildew growing on the bottom of the shower curtains and a dirty used washcloth that was left in the corner from previous hotel guests with god knows what on it. I don’t recommend staying here. The worst service and room I have ever stayed in and experienced.

NEVER STAY HERE

When I checked into my room it wasnt clean, they switched rooms but it was dirty as well. Trash not taken out, gross dirty stuff on bed/mattress. TV had big lines running through it. Gross gross gross! When i told staff the next morning he said he didn't care and he didn't care if we ever came back. Horrible customer service

Warning:BEDBUGS

The hotel had “BEDBUGS” I booked for 2 nights left after 1 night . They charge $15 a night parking FEE they charged me extra $20 because I checked in one hour early. After telling them there was bedbugs and showing evidence they refused to refund any money . WARNING: don’t waste your money on this hotel no matter the cost . Bedbugs are hitchhikers and you’ll take them home with you..

Don’t recommend/dirty/poor management

Very disappointed, property is nothing like the pictures. Long wait to check in for my room, family of 6 had to sit in the lobby and wait almost an hour….room wasn’t clean, strong bleach odor, elevator not working, moldy, key cards didn’t work, puke/poop on the curtain and on the floor by one of the beds, son woke up with bites all over. Not enough towels for my entire family to shower before bed at night. Mold on the ice cubes in the complimentary water, breakfast was watered down OJ, stale bread. Manager was very rude and unprofessional when tried to discuss my complaints Tuesday morning he instantly started yelling and arguing with me, lied to me and said the manager would be in Thursday, I go back Thursday and he said he’s the manger. Still waiting for my refund for the 3 nights I didn’t stay. Refused to give me a checkout receipt Tuesday and Thursday. Very disappointed! Saying no refund because front desk wasn’t notified when they were, Monday evening and again Tuesday morning. Do NOT stay here, there is also a surprise $15 per night parking fee not advertised! Worst hotel I’ve ever booked! Worst manager with no professionalism or respect for customers. Tried telling me I had to cancel 48hr before for refund, this isn’t a cancellation it’s a refund for the condition of the property and lack of cleanliness. If my family wasn’t so exhausted from the drive from Nebraska I wouldn’t have even stayed the one night I did! Will be contacting cooperate and BBB!

Horrible experience

First off, the pictures online are NOT of the actual hotel. U are charged a $15 parking fee daily, that is not listed when booking the hotel. Room was very dirty and old. Hadn’t been dusted in years I'm sure. There was black mold on the ceiling and on the walls. Pillow case and sheets were stained. Key reader never worked, took us 20 tries every time we came in the door. Totaly ruined our family vacation but we chose to stay and tough it out because everything else was booked. Dont get fooled into booking this hotel.

Bring a towel!

We had 4 in our room but was only allowed 2 towels, had to trade in to get more. Rooms and hotel was dirty, staff was unfriendly at best.

Worst hotel stay

Rusty and dirty rooms. Front desk staff not professional. Their college going boys were fighting during check-in and the process got casually delayed. $15 extra was charged per day for car parking. Food was not good and only waffles and bread, no other options. Even orange juice dispenser was empty and front desk person told she doesn’t know how to fill it. Irritating questions were asked when I requested towels on second stay. Water got stuck in bathtub. Wyndham hotels have always been good but first worst experience from them. Need lots of improvement from maintenance and management.

Health risk

We didn’t even check in and disputing charges through Wyndham. This place is the worst hotel we have stepped foot in. Covered in mold pool was disgusting, all the doors to the rooms are falling apart. Because we booked through hotel.com I went to cancel my reservation the lady at the counter just yelled at me, said since I’m not checking in to me to just leave. I told her I had a reservation and she said I didn’t check in I won’t be charged to leave. Numerous people were trying to get out of their reservations. $400 for one night is crazy for a hotel that needs to be condemned. DO NOT STAY!

Do not stay here!

Do not waste your money at this motel!!! It is VERY run down and VERY NASTY dirty!!! When we first got to room, dirty rags hanging on shower curtain. All floors were dirty. Walls, looked "buckled" like water damage then painted over, a lot! Tile missing in bathroom doorway threshold. A/C went out first night. They moved us next day to a different room. Was a little better but once again floors were dirty. Under bed looked like it had not been swept or mopped in MONTHS!! ALSO....This is the ONLY hotel we have EVER had to pay parking in Galveston!! A dumpy, pothole full, trash everywhere parking lot...looked like a landfill. Even at the HIGH-END Hotel Galvez, never paid parking! Speaking of trash...the trash can, a large outdoor one, on each floor, by the elevator was not emptied for 3 days! Running over and for instance...the one on the 2nd floor had a hairbrush on top for 3 days. That's how I know it wasn't emptied. The "free breakfast"...HA! Free alright for nothing left 20 to 30 minutes after breakfast started. Ran completely out because they started with basically NOTHING! My husband and I go to Galveston, on the average, 3 times a year. The hotel we usually stay at is doing renovations due to tropical storm Beryl. If I were Wyndam brand, I would dump this motel from my company! This was the MOST DISGUSTING established that I have EVER stayed at!!! 6 nights of disgusting nastiness in a building that looks beyond repair. Really needs to be bulldozed and rebuild!

Overall, my experience was okay. We chose this place primarily for the pool, but unfortunately, it was green and not inviting, which was disappointing. On a positive note, our room felt clean and well-kept, which is always a plus. However, I did notice that the property could use better maintenance to enhance the overall experience. While it served its purpose for our short stay, I felt that the price was a bit high for just one night, especially considering the additional charge for parking. In summary, it was fine for a brief stopover, but there’s room for improvement in terms of amenities and maintenance.
