Caution: Deceptive Hotel Ahead.
Edited to comply with hotels.com policy. The first part of the stay was OK. There was a water bug in the bathroom, the bottom of the tub was unfinished and stained and there was a square of wall paper missing. The furniture was decent but worn. For the location, space, and price, it was acceptable. Unfortunately issues arose on the second part. We had booked third party and were unable to extend our stay without booking a new reservation. We booked what we thought was a bigger room at a better deal. I even said as much fo the desk agent. This was not the case. The listing was for a 2 room suite. Not to be confused with their 2 bedroom suite... which i did. I felt deceived and set out to have it fixed. Instead 20 mins later my guest was accosted by the desk agent demanding to know what had happened to the other room. He blamed us for the missing piece of paper, complained the towels were used and the sheets too. To be fair i had been sick the night before and had used towels to clean. They were used.... but isnt that the point? I was not present for the confrontation, nor did the hotel reach out to me. Its interesting there wasn't an issue until 20 minutes after I complained to hotels.com. I called them again outraged and 10 mins later the property asked us to leave; a coincidence I'm certain. Which we did without argument and when leaving overheard the desk agent make a derogatory slur. At which they laughed. 0/10
