Birthday trip to Louisville for Baseball stuff!

Our stay was a short weekend trip for my birthday to see the Louisville Slugger factory and catch a baseball game with the Bats! The hotel was a touch hard to find but that was due to Google maps recalibrating slowly, not the hotels fault in anyway. The room was nice and clean, bed was King size and very comfortable. They serve a breakfast but you could only eat in the designated area and not go back to the room with it which was fine. Their hotel ,their rules with no problem (even coffee,and drinks!) Parking lot was vey well lit , a little small but in the middle of downtown ,it's fine! Good situation as to resaturants and attractions , 5 minutes to Slugger Museum ,less than 10 minutes to Slugger Park! Decent pricing on room. All in all , a very good deal to me!

Wasn’t bad for the price but they never refunded the $147 they took out of my account twice nor the $100 deposit they took out. Such a language barrier that I can’t get them to understand they owe me money!

Affordable downtown, minimal service

Neutral: -Room doors are outdoors -require payment of $100 deposit before stay -require $5 parking fee per vehicle, however have multiple signs indicating they do not watch or have responsibility for your vehicle or things while parked there -minimal breakfast offerings, two cereals, two muffin types, bagels, bread, strawberry banana yogurt, milk, butter, jam, pancake machine, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, whole apples. No vegan options, only protein option is yogurt. -a bit of a language barrier between myself and staff could make communication a bit difficult at times Positive: -staff at the counter quickly whenever I needed -affordable stay compared to others nearby -offers free breakfast -nicer inside the room than the outside made me think it may be -clean towels -received room service first day -the male evening staff was very kind and accommodating with every interaction Negatives: -my room was not recently deep cleaned, multiple stains on the walls, headboard, door, walls, mirror, etc. -sheets were okay, some discoloration and small moth like holes -room smelled like smoke -sofa chair had a rip in the seat and was visibly worn/dirty -was questioned turse-ly on why I wanted a second blanket by staff, then didn’t get one -phone in the room didn’t work, nor did some light switches -very bright parking lot with curtains and door facing it that didn’t fully block out the light -breakfast is ‘done in only’ and they won’t allow you to take any to rooms
