Not the worst I’ve stayed in but it’s pretty close

Old and outdated building and rooms. No cable tv service. They had a Roku hooked up to the tv but the WiFi was so bad you couldn’t use it. They also do weekly and monthly rentals to the locals. There was also an undisclosed $140 deposits for possible damages. But I didn’t see one thing in the room that was not already damaged. Bathroom door looked like it has been kicked in with big holes in it. Deadbolt on the door was broken and didn’t work at all. Check in was at 4pm. Office finally opened at 4:10. Then we had to wait till 5:15 because the room needed to be cleaned. The office was also closed when we went to check out. The lady at the desk was nice. But it didn’t help the condition of the hotel.

You lied to me Expedia said room had WiFi and a working TV not only did it not have either one, but it didn’t even have a working deadbolt on the door….pathetic excuse for a hotel…and told the General Manger about dead bolt she laughed and said “good looking getting someone to fix it”.NEVER WILL I USE EXPEDIA AGAIN!!! This hotel should be banned from your platform…

Gross! Unsafe!

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It was evacuating from St Pete Florida with my son and dog. What should have taken us 5 hours to get to Jacksonville took us 11 with bumper to bumper traffic the entire way. I booked this place online an hour or two before we were destined to arrive in the area. We got there very late and check-in was very shady. All the lights were off and they had to unlock the door to let me in. You think since I already booked online, they would just hand me the key like at most hotels and I'd be on my way. Nope! Check-in process was well over half an hour with the receptionist going into detail about her ingrown toe surgery, and then taking an extra 15 minutes to go actually check the rooms before she gave us the key. It's around 2:30 in the morning and I am exhausted in my diabetic son waiting in the truck needs sleep and food. Get to the room and it was dirty. Hairs all over the bathroom. Literally no bathroom door. We both start coughing and noses running within 15 minutes of entering the room. Clearly black mold forming in corners of the ceiling. We could not stay there. We couldn't even check out because the office was closed, so we just shoved the key card under the office door and left. No sleep and left feeling way grosser than when we arrived. Absolutely horrible experience. Do not recommend this place for families, individuals, or pretty much anything outside of prostitution. And even then, you can probably find a better option

My elderly mother and I evacuated from the Tampa area, took us 10 hrs. to get there with traffic. arrived at 2:30 am nobody at the front desk and the doors were locked. I called the phone number provided on my conformation sheet, and nobody called me back. since that first night I have called several times and still nobody has called me back. so, my mother and I and our 2 dogs had to sleep in the car that night. I had arranged amazon to deliver a adaptor to the office for a 8 am delivery so I could work remotely, and they tried several times and deemed it undeliverable. I went there the next Moring and still doors are locked, and nobody is there. I went around to their neighbors and was informed it was a brothel. I want my money back. full refund I am going to contact the FTC and the governor. this is twice I have used Expedia and have had nothing but trouble. I will not hold my Tonge this time. I am letting EVERBODY know.

The owners greed is reflected everywhere

The front desk lady was helpful and friendly but clearly overworked. We waited four and a half hours to check in because she was also cleaning rooms. The hotel is severely understaffed, likely to save money. When we finally got to our room, it was disappointing—no towels, damp floors, and a musty smell mixed with weed. The lady (Bessie) did her best, but management needs to address these issues and stop trying to cut corners by being understaffed and putting such a workload on one person
