Absolutely Not a 5-Star Hotel – A Terrible Experie
I travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels around the world. This was, without question, one of the worst experiences I have ever had – and it is absolutely not a five-star property as it claims to be.
To begin with, our room had no window. Selling such a room under a five-star label is misleading at best. Breakfast was another disaster – poorly prepared, tasteless, and nowhere near the standard expected at this level.
When we raised these issues with the staff and pointed out that the hotel does not live up to what is advertised on Hotels.com, their response was essentially: “Too bad for you, we won’t do anything about it.” The lack of accountability and professionalism was astonishing.
But the most alarming part came on our last night. We returned to the room to find that someone had been inside, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being placed on our door before we left. Our bags had been moved, the room hadn’t been cleaned, and most disturbingly – the “Do Not Disturb” sign itself had been taken off the door and left inside the room. This left us with the very real impression that an unauthorized person had entered while we were away. Needless to say, this destroyed any sense of safety or trust.
This hotel markets itself as luxury, but in reality it is unsafe, dishonest, and far from five-star quality. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to avoid it at all costs.
