I paid for parking in advance when I booked my room, assuming it would be a smooth process. However, I was never given any instructions on how to redeem my parking. As a result, I was forced to pay again at the exit gate just to leave the lot.
Looking back, I should have taken the warning more seriously—one of the staff members actually told us to be careful with the parking fee as we headed to our room. At the time, I didn’t think much of it because I figured I wouldn’t have any issues since I had already paid in advance. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
When I went to the front desk to resolve the issue, the staff admitted that there were no instructions provided about bringing the parking ticket to them for validation. Instead of offering a solution or refund, they were dismissive and rude, essentially telling me, “too bad, so sad.”
This is completely unacceptable. If they offer prepaid parking, they need to provide clear instructions—and if they fail to do so, they should take responsibility. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re okay with hidden charges and unhelpful staff.
