My wife, 16-year old son, and i stayed at the Hilton Inn Resort Aruba February 18-23, 2025. Many of the Tik-Tok videos talked about the beautiful location. I had heard mixed reviews - old, outdated rooms, upkeep of the property, long lines to check-in, and in some regards the service. The location was amazing. We were able to walk right out onto a white sand beach. I give that a 5-star. The check-in process was horrendous. They had people standing in line for nearly 90 minutes. Although I had booked the trip for a Double Room using Hotel.com when I arrived, "Donny" informed that my room was not available and that they would upgrade me to a King room with a balcony. I agreed because we were standing in line and my son was exhausted. The room turned out to be situated looking over a pick ball court and back of the hotel. Not cool. I give this a 2.5 start rating The room was dated and there were stains on the sofa I asked to be moved and was unable to work with management (Evers) to secure a more suitable accommodation. The restaurants did not get good ratings (most 3.5) so we initially stayed away from eating in the hotel because you could walk right outside the hotel entrance and choose from any number of cuisines. However, my son wanted to try one because he didn't want to walk around and so we did. Agave is 4.5 star. The ambiance, service (Ramon), and the food was delicious and so we went back twice during out stay. Overall, I would give the hotel. Hotel service was good.
