Great stay!

Amazing hotel with trendy decor. Very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast and dinner was delicious. Would highly recommend if you are staying in this area.

In a prime location but comes with the difficulties of people nagging you for money/ bread on the street. Property itself is not 5*, more like 4*. Spacious room, excellent breakfast and very courteous/ helpful staff. Got to see the real Cape Town a bit because of location. Could provide 2 bottles of water per day rather than the strict policy of one/room. Enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend

Shower smells like mildew, surrounding areas not safe/walkable in the evening and dirty. Food was salty. Laundry hyper expensive in comparison. All the hype of a 'has been' but no longer.

Hotel itself, due to superb staff and exquisite cuisine, as well as excellent outfitting, super. Only downside: noise insulation of rooms is poor, 5th floor rooms need seever upgrade on noise insulation towards rooftop restaurant and bar. Otherwise noise kills until 1am and atarts with breakfast prep from 530am.

It was a little confusing ti find since its on a pedestrian street. I called the hotel and they sent the bell boy to direct me on how to get there. The rooms besides being very comfortable for my family and I, was very chic. You will fall in love with the rooftop restaurant. Reminded me of a LA chic vibe. The cocktails were amazing. The vibe was great. Athough it felt the hotel would be a great place for younger traveleres, there were so accommodating to my family and I. As a matter of fact, there were lots of families with young toddlers staying here. The staff throughout the hotel was so cortious and helpful. They even walked with me to a grocery store to buy some stuff. I would have liked to have stayed for longer nights. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable, large room. The bed was great and the shower was the best we experienced during our 2.5 weeks in South Africa. Also the staff is welcoming and responsive and the restaurant is terrific. We very highly recommend Gorgeous George!

Estadia memorável em Cape Town

Adoramos nossa estadia no hotel. Ele está localizado no Centro, a região pode parecer um pouco insegura a noite, mas não tivemos problemas. Sempre havia uber disponível por perto. A staff do hotel era muito simpática, o quarto era grande e limpo. O restaurante era ótimo! Café da manhã incrivelmente bom!!!!

Super chic but super loud

The hotel is incredibly chic and it offers cool amenities. Staff is also friendly and helpful. Room was totally fine and the price was fair. They offer parking. All that said, the area where the hotel is located is FAR FROM CHIC/hardly safe. It's also impossibly loud at night (like, can't sleep loud). Don't see myself coming back.
