The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff were nice and attentive. Only stayed one night as were attending a funeral locally. Lovely breakfast.

I didn't like the fact that the bar / restaurant was shut, locked and in darkness at 8.15pm on the Sunday night. No staff on the premises at all. Same again at 9 AM on Tuesday morning. The front door was locked, as was the restaurant/ bar. No staff anywhere on the premises, nor any method of contacting them.

The service and food was very good. Beds very comfortable, so got a good nights sleep. The staff were very accommodating and supportive to my daughter who had a 6 month old baby. The small breakfast consisting of a muffin, cornflakes and milk and tea or coffee was quite adequate, instead of full cooked breakfast, which I’m sure kept the overall price down. My only negative observation was that the shower was too small and not good.

Viel erg tegen. Eten wad wel goed.
We werden hartelijk ontvangen en de pub en het restaurant zijn prima. Maar.....dat kamertje voor 60 pond was schandalig. We reizen al enige tijd door Engeland maar dit was beschamend.Ontbijt voor twee betekent, zoek het uit, het kan ons niet schelen. Absoluut niet doen, overnachten. .

Very nice - the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bar and restaurant offer a good selection of food and drink and I enjoyed an excellent gammon steak. Large car park and the location is convenient for the town whilst not being in the centre of things. I would certainly visit again.

Very disgusting!
Very disappointed. Breakfast was a plastic tub of cornflakes left in room with a cartoon of milk which was left on the side (not in the fridge) with a chocolate muffin? Dinner was over priced & fish dry. Rom was dirty, scum all around the window frames, bathroom disgusting! Electrics all over the place not secured and laid over the floor.

this property was fine, plenty of parking, price was good , rooms were a bit noisey people in next room woke us up a few times in the night, cant comment on food as we ate at the oriental palace 5 mins awy which was very good,only thing that let it down was noise from other rooms
