This is a quiet, rural location near the ocean and accessed via single track. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfasts were varied and quite good. The hosts are super. You'll have to drive to find dining options but there are many within a 15-minute drive.

Iv'e just come down from the Isle of Skye
Welcomed with a cup of tea, what better way can Yorkshire folk be greeted!! special parking grid had been prepared for my motorcycle. I call that going the extra mile to please!! David and Katrina treated us like family, helped us by booking restaurants and giving advice on the current restrictions. It is the little things, putting in microwaves and fridges so we could bring food home when eating out was difficult. Allowing us to use the breakfast table for this purpose, Fresh milk as required. Conversation on tap All went to make our stay excellent and special. The weather was good too.

Gorgeous views, quiet location, comfortable beds and accommodations. David and Katrina were friendly, helpful and they made amazing breakfasts! I loved Skye and wished we could have stayed longer. The night sky was spectacular...I saw the Milky Way for the first time and so many stars, oh and the aurora borealis (I live in Alaska so I'm used to those). Can't say enough good things about Foxwood!

Wunderbar freundliche und aufgeschlossene Gastwirte! Lage ist direkt am Wasser. Wunderschön aber etwas abgelegen und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nicht zu erreichen. Zimmer sind liebevoll und sehr gut ausgestattet.

Great stay un Foxwood cabin
I recommend the cabin, especially for a young couple... The view is breathtaking. It can get windy, but the cabin is inviting, and the bed is a very comfortable trap 😊. The accommodation is also very well equipped.

Views from my room were amazing, breakfast was delicious, and David and Katrina were so kind and helpful with directions and recommendations. Follow Google Maps' directions when heading to Foxwood on Skye. Don't be tempted to take the first turn like I did because that single track is trickier than the second one a mile up. Also, drive slowly and carefully when taking the road to the B&B because the sheep will eventually cross so there is no need to rush.

Loved our stay at Foxwood - the best. So relaxing and such a warm welcome with lots of information regarding area. The room was quiet with a great view, loads of parking, great spot to start a days road trip around Skye. The breakfast was fantastic. Definitely recommend.
