Upon entering the room, I was immediately greeted by a strong pungent alcoholic smell, presumably from the cleanser or fragrance used. To my disappointment, the room proved to be dirty and infested with insects. Mosquitoes were flying around, and I discovered dead insects on the floor and even on the bed. Furthermore, the headboard was peeling off and clumsily glued back together. Despite booking a giant-size bed, I was provided with two single beds merged together, leaving an uncomfortable gap. Additionally, there were instances of paint peeling on the walls and ceiling, with the bathroom ceiling exhibiting signs of mold.
My experience was further marred by the incessant noise emanating from a bar located beneath my room, disrupting my sleep every night. Moreover, the hot water in the shower failed to function properly. When I approached the reception to address these issues and request a room change, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked with no available rooms. However, no further action or communication was initiated by the hotel until 9:30 pm on the third day after I complained that dead insects throughout the room, including on the pillow even after the housekeeping. However, I declined the offer due to my imminent departure in the morning.
