Good and Bad
Beautiful room very comfortable bed; inviting lobby and restaurant. I was very disappointed that the pool was extremely cloudy. You could not see the bottom and the hot tub was broken. No sign around to inform guests that it was broken. No, the compensation was offered for the inconvenience of all the facilities, not being functional.

It’s alright
It was alright. Not a hotel to brag about. The hotel does not offer room service every morning. The safety lock on the door did not work. The carpet seemed dirty and smelled like sweat. Pillows were so flat like uncomfortable, also the bed felt really old and with deep holes. The food court was alright. Parking seems very unsafe. Anyone can park in the garage and anyone can come into the garage without having a car there. Area seems to be very safe so maybe that’s why? But as a foreign to that area and with kids, it did make me feel uncomfortable. Overall realized it was probably not worth the price.

Clean room and pool area. The floor is very slippery by the pool when wet. We would stay here again with the kids. The pool maybe too small for older kids but perfect for our little ones. It was mostly 3ft deep.

If your here on a Thursday night DO NOT miss out on pasta night at the River's Edge Restaraunt located within the facility. You won't regret it! Nice remodeled rooms, clean, comfortable. Pool is sorta small to accomodate the hot tub, but we managed to survive, lol! Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

The water in the toilet was an odd color of brown, when flushing the toilet the reservoir didnt refill. We took the lid off the back but the water color was the same. Ran the sink water and shower water, same brown color! We walked down to the front desk and they informed us the property ran on well water and it was a mandatory flush of the water system. They didn't offer any suggestions. But we knew it would be a good idea to let the sink and shower run until clear. GOOD THING WE DIDN'T TRY TO DRINK THE WATER! While at the front desk we asked for a couple of water bottles. (They didnt offer) I even spoke softly to the receptionist as I didnt want other guests to hear the water issue. Otherwise a very well maintained property, plenty of outlets for cell phone charges. Appreciated the breakfast coupons! The staff in the cafe where super friendly and professional.

just spent three nights at the Bear River Casino. Excellent experience. I was greeted at the door by the front desk who had several people in front of me big smile on her face said, I will be with you in a few minutes'. Check in time was 4 pm l arrived at 2:00 pm and was in my room by 2:12 PM. Not that it's a huge thing, but they also gave me a couple of bottles of water which is nice when you first arrive some place. Every employee I encountered was happy, smiling, helpful and nice. The rooms are spacious with beautiful big bathrooms a very comfortable king-size bed and spotlessly clean. In fact the entire property is spotlessly clean and smoke free as far as l can tell. Even in the casino! The hotel has spectacular views of the Ferndale Valley at the price point I was on the backside of the hotel which I would Expect because the rate was so much better than any clean and smoke free as far as l can tell. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. I would rate this like a Choice Hotel Cambria line.
