Very bad experience
Before the check in day, the receptionist text me they can provide airport tranfer between hotel. One way transfer is €50 . Normally , it costs around .€30. Because I arrive Istanbul in morning 6:00 a.m. and I can arrive hotel on 8;00 am. For early Check in, it asks me for €50 . I dont accept thr offer and go for sightseeing. After i get the room on2:00pm, i want to take rest and sleep. Unfortunately, there is construction work nearby and it is very noisy. i can't take a rest and sleep in the hotel. It is very bad. The receptionist just says the noise will end on 5:00pm😡. Also, the room is very hot. The air-conditioner not functioning well. Then, i went out for sightseeing again and come back hotel at night. On around 21:30, the receptionist call my room and ask me to change the room from ground floor to 2nd floor. The reason is there is water leakage in the ground floor. Conclusion: DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL

Limpeza muito boa, equipe gentil e atenciosa (nos ajudaram a contratar os passeios), fica bem localizado. Bom chuveiro e boa cama. Ficamos num quarto com varanda com uma vista boa, no segundo andar, mas se puder escolha um mais alto. Pontos de melhoria: o café da manhã é de razoável a bom, e as fotos do quarto e recepção impressionam mais do que realmente são. O restaurante é pequeno e podia ter mais variedades de frutas, pães frescos, iogurtes e etc. Os quartos não possuem isolamento de barulho e algumas vezes a água do chuveiro estava morna (acredito que tiveram problemas com a calefação), mas isso não comprometeu a estadia. Equipe de limpeza um pouco barulhenta.

Leider war ein Stromgenerator auf dem Dach Daher permanent Beschallung was unterschwellig gereizt macht und zu Schlafproblemen führt. Das Frühstück ging, nichts großartiges, nachlegen ist sehr schleppend erfolgt. Matratzen Qualität nicht ausreichend . Auf der Dachterrasse zu sitzen ist ganz schön (wenn der Generator nicht läuft). Das Zimmerpersonal geht ins Zimmer obwohl das Schild bitte nicht Stören draußen hängt.

A convenient and comfortable stay
Location was great. Walking Distance to so many must-go places. Service was good, they arranged for all transfers for us. That’s a great help. It’s definitely worth the money I paid. I would string recommend this hotel.

If you’re on a budget, this is a great hotel to stay in Old Town Istanbul. I am sure there are other great boutique hotels around the area but this hotel is located in a quiet corner of Old Town. Far from the maddening tourist crowd. The rooms are adequate in size. Bathrooms are small but in need of an update and reno. The general area is clean. Breakfast spread is great and their coffee machine is fantastic. The hotel lobby, while it is small, is too crowded with too many chairs. A lounge sofa pushed to the wall would have freed space and create a larger lobby. Their recycling bins are on the front entrance (WHY?!), TV on the wall (again, WHY?! A nice painting of Istanbul will suffice.) Hotel lobbies should be inviting and easy on the eyes. A well kept hotel lobby makes great impressions. The downside of our stay was check-in. The job of the front desk staff is to get your guests to their rooms as quickly as possible upon check-in. The staff was nice but instead of giving us our room key cards, he took so much time selling us Hamam and tickets to sights. We were tired coming from a very long flight. A simple line, “If you need information on sights and Hamam, please don’t hesitate to ask me.”, would have suffice. Other than that, our stay was okay.

It was a pleasure staying at Saba Sultan hotel. We loved the view of Bosporus from our window. Sitting on the balcony sipping tea watching the ships go by and the city skyline on the Asian side was the highlight of our stay. We took some great pictures from the balcony, especially at the dawn and dusk. The entire hotel staff was outstanding, not only speaking impeccable English but very polite and courteous, always ready to help. Thank you all very much for making this a memorable trip!
