Staff was amazing and friendly at the late hour that we check in, however by no fault of the staff their system did not accept my credit card. Or so I thought. I ended up getting charged over $2,000 on two different cards!!! Which led me to have to wait 5 to 10 business days for the pending transaction to be released. Also, that amount charge was not the amount that I booked the room at, it was higher! This was not the experience I wanted to have at the start of my vacation. Everything was fine with the rooms, we booked a two bedroom suite. They were just as described, nice and roomy. Parking is available and I am a fine print reader. Nowhere did I find that it would be an additional cost per night. I plan for everything, but getting three different answers to why I am getting charged for parking was highly frustrating. Overtime, I was able to get the charge for parking removed but I would have appreciated more transparency in what the extra charges are at the start and a consistent answer from staff. This hotel did offer complimentary breakfast which was a bonus and another reason why we booked it. On the other hand, when you offer complimentary breakfast and then have your kitchen staff grumble that your guests are greedy when getting the complimentary breakfast that the staff members employer offered was rude, highly offensive and unacceptable behavior on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! When no doubt the hotel is full to capacity.
